Guest Parking
Finding parking for a theatre run can be one of the biggest stresses of touring, but at The Coach House, we have you completely covered. We provide two dedicated parking spaces within our private, secure courtyard. This area is tucked away from the main road, offering peace of mind for those traveling with equipment or personal vehicles. To access it, simply follow the driveway to the right of the main house (No. 28) and park to the left of the garage doors.

If you are part of a larger production team or have visitors, there is also ample free off-road parking available directly on Half Edge Lane. Unlike many areas near Manchester and Salford, this street offers reliable and safe spaces without the hassle of permits or meters. This combination of secure, on-site courtyard spaces and easy-access street parking makes our home an ideal base for cast and crew who need the flexibility of multiple vehicles or the security of a private driveway during their stay.

Located at 28 Half Edge Lane, this luxury 105sqm Coach House is perfectly positioned close to the vibrant Monton Village. You’ll be just a 5-minute stroll from Monton’s famous "café culture," offering a fantastic selection of independent bars, bistros, and shops—ideal for a post-show meal or a relaxed coffee on your day off.
Getting to the Theatres:
The Lowry: Only 7–9 mins by car. Alternatively, it’s a 10-min journey via the Eccles Metrolink.
Manchester Opera House & Palace Theatre: 12-16 mins by car. From Eccles Station, direct trains reach Deansgate or Oxford Road in just 9 mins.
Royal Exchange & Hope Mill: ~20 mins driving or 30 mins via local bus/train links.
Transport & Perks: The property includes free secure parking, a huge bonus for touring cast members. Excellent bus routes (33, 35, 67) are nearby, and the M602 is minutes away. For downtime, enjoy our private terrace or enjoy local walks.

The Coach House is self contained featuring 2 bedrooms, a large living room / kitchen with state of the art appliances, laundry (washer and dryer) and a shared Blounge (bathroom lounge) with freestanding bath, desk and sitting area. There is a terrace with outdoor dining / heaters. An optional single pop up bed can be added to the master suite.
Excluded Facilities
The main gardens are not for guest use. Please use your own terrace.

Keys: Leave the second key on the kitchen island; lock the first key back in the wall-mounted key box. Lost keys incur a £90 replacement fee.
Security: Ensure all windows and doors are securely locked.
Power: Switch off all lights. Set heating/cooling to 18°C.
Tidy-Up: Load and run the dishwasher. Place used towels in the bath or shower. Dispose of all rubbish and recycling in the designated bins.
House Conduct
Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Visitors: Strictly no parties or undeclared overnight guests.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside. Please use the terrace or bistro areas and use outdoor bins for all waste.
Care: Please treat high-end furniture and art with care.
Parking: Use designated spaces only. Do not block the garage or main drive.
