Living with Host
A spacious, comfortable double room in my recently renovated home, just under 2 miles from Liverpool city centre and within easy reach of all major theatres. Ideal for cast and crew looking for a clean, peaceful base during their stay.
I'm an experienced, relaxed host who understands the demands of theatre life. Whether you want to unwind quietly after a show or chat over a cuppa, you'll feel at home here. Marley, my small friendly dog, is part of the household and loves welcoming guests.
Your room includes a comfortable double bed, desk, wardrobe, fresh bedding and towels. Guests have full use of the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and private courtyard. A self-service breakfast (tea, coffee, cereals, bread and milk) is included, and the occasional home-cooked meal may appear if the "kitchen fairy" pays a visit!
Just a 2-minute walk to excellent public transport, with cafés, restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby. Free on-street

The house is in a quiet residential area beside beautiful Sefton Park, one of Liverpool's most popular green spaces. Just a 2-minute walk away you'll find frequent buses to the city centre, with journey times of around 10–15 minutes, making it easy to reach Liverpool Empire, Royal Court, Everyman, Playhouse, M&S Bank Arena and the city's other theatres.
Lark Lane, with its independent cafés, bars and restaurants, is within walking distance, and there are supermarkets, takeaways and local shops just a few minutes away. Whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast before rehearsals or relaxing after a show, everything you need is close by.

Cannot fault Julie and her gorgeous dog Marley! What an excellent stay. Super comfortable bed in a spacious well lit room. Great shower in a spacious super clean bathroom right next door to the room. Free on street parking right outside the house was brilliant as well. Only a short 10 min drive to the M&S Bank Arena. Great kitchen too and loads of fridge space. One of the best stays I've had. Julie is super lovely as well, fully of recommendations for lovely local walks. I can't wait to be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Julie's place! She's very friendly, helpful and kind host. The house is in a quiet area, very easy to get to the centre of Liverpool and has many shops and cafes nearby. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

What a gorgeous stay with Julie. The room and house were spotless. The room has coffee and tea facilities. Use of the washing machine was a life saver. Julie is just lovely and Marley (the dog) was gorgeous and loves a tummy tickle. Grab these digs while you can. I drove in everyday and parked at the St John's centre for £8 a day so cannot comment on the public transport. I'll most definitely be back.

Julie was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure to meet her and Marley! The house was warm and comfortable and I felt very at ease staying with her. I would definitely stay with Julie again and would recommend to anyone.

Julie was a welcoming and helpful host (as was her lovely little dog!). The room was as described, spotless and comfortable. A little way out from Liverpool venues quiet but with but a good range of takeaways, pubs and restaurants very nearby and an ASDA and Aldi. Easy access to bus stops.

Julie was an absolute fantastic host, extremely friendly, accommodating and extremely nice ! The house is absolutely gorgeous, very comfortable to relax in after a long work day, would definitely recommend !

Absolutely BRILLIANT digs! Julie was a total pleasure to stay with throughout my 2week stay. The house is located in a lovely area, walking distance to Lark Lane and Sefton Park. Shops galore and parking was free on street and always available. Not walking distance to the theatre (Empire), but parking in Liverpool is really cheap, so had no problem driving in or cycling when the weather was good. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Love these digs, it’s a bit of a walk in but there’s plenty of buses and always the elec scooter option. Great host. I’ll be looking to book again next time I’m in town.

WiFi is solid. Bathroom though not en-suite is absolutely spotless ( alwys) which makes a huge difference. Poodle Marley is unassuming, not demanding and adorable. Julie is accommodating and unimposing. Friendly helpful and you feel well looked after. Amazon pod in your room. Breakfast is thrown in. A lot going for this place. A clean interesting well kept Victorian house.

I loved my stay at Julie’s, she’s is such a lovely lady. The room
Is so big and bright,& the bed is so comfy. Lovely bathroom w/great shower. Julie’s dog, Marley is one of the cutest I’ve ever met!Travel is super easy to the city. Would recommend!

Loved these digs, super comfy bed! Excellent host who couldn’t have been nicer. Don’t let distance put you off, there’s public transport or scooters, a taxi isn’t expensive. I’ll definitely be staying again hopefully next time I’m in town.

My stay with Jules was THE BEST. We got on very well and I had the best time with her and her lovely Maltepoo, Marley. It's an 11 min bike ride to the Everyman, a 5 min walk to the shops and takeaways and so close to Sefton Park! Highly recommend!
