Living with Host

What does this mean?

This is a lovely spacious room with a standard double bed. Come and stay with us in our lovely Victorian town centre house. We have a second bedroom with a small double bed that can be enquired about also.

You will have use of the spacious kitchen (feel free to cook something up!), dining room, garden and large lounge with open fire and bar (yep! Please replace drinks or leave a donation). You may use our washing machine & tumble drier.

Smoking in the garden only.

A beautiful 5 min stroll along the cliffs to the Cliffs Pavilion. A 10 min walk to the Palace Theatre. 3 mins from the Clifftown Theatre.

Street parking is residential permit holder only, so arrival by train is ideal. Plenty of car parks in walking distance.

Guest Parking

Parking is visitor permit only. Lots of car parks nearby and parking via apps.

The Area and Transport

Lovely city centre location, 2 mins walk from Southend Central train station and 10 mins walk from Southend Victoria station. 10 min walk to Cliffs Pavilion theatre along the sea front. 20 mins walk to the Palace Theatre. 5 mins to E15 theatre.

A lovely room in an excellent location! The bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of space for my suitcase in the room, and it was an easy ten minute walk to the Cliffs Pavilion. Juliet was an excellent host as well, I would absolutely stay again. Thanks for having me!
