Lovely Private Studio (Sheffield)

My second time at Rob’s place and it was even better than the last time. A total haven away from the theatre but close enough to everything you need. I hadn’t realized I’d overpaid and Rob insisted on reimbursing me.

A truly lovely place and I only wish I could’ve been in wonderful Sheffield a bit longer.

Wonderful studio apartment situated at the end of the hosts' garden with private access from a separate road. Really spacious and well equipped. 10 minute drive to Sheffield, but Sheffield Theatres (at time of writing) offer 70% off the Q-Park which was £7.50 per day. Definitely worth it.

Rob and Emily were brilliant and attentive hosts! Their digs was also really well equipped, comfortable, fully self contained, and in a great, quiet location outside of the city centre. It's about an hour walk to the Lyceum but through a lovely area with lots of amenities en route. Easy transport access via bus, taxi/uber and car too if you're not up for the walk.

Staying here is my no.1 priority for whenever I find myself back in Sheffield! Thanks for having me!

Another great stay here. If you’re looking for self contained and don’t mind a bit of a drive / bus into town then these are excellent digs - both quality and value for money. 10mins, easy access by car in to town (Theatre has a 70% off parking deal in QPark). Rob is always a pleasure to communicate with and on hand for anything you might need.

The most beautiful, well equipped, comfy and private digs. Buses aren’t the best but in every other respect these are the perfect digs with the perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

Second time staying here. LOVE it. Totally private, self-contained flat / cabin which is clean, cosy and has everything you need. WiFi good, streaming channels on the telly, comfy bed, good shower. It’s a decent schlep into town (50mins perhaps), but about £7 Uber home. I love the area though, much less hectic & if it’s your tipple, trail practically from the door up into the Peaks.

Really great place to stay! One of my favourite on tour so far! Really quiet and secluded, bus ride or drive to the theatre but the studio is really worth it!
Great amenities, comfy bed, good shower! Great communication with Robert too! Would 100% stay again!!

A lovely week! Perfect little self contained digs with pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. The place is a short drive away from the theatre and is really cosy. Robert was super helpful and I'd absolutely recommend these digs.

Wonderful place to stay, lots of indoor space and your own outdoor area with beautiful views. Robert and Emily are really great hosts, super helpful and friendly, they even let me use their washing machine. I hope to be back again soon!

Honestly the only thing about these digs is it’s a few miles away and the buses aren’t the most reliable. That’s the one negative. As a walk in it’s pretty easy because it’s all downhill. The actual place itself is ideal, it’s entirely your own space, good fridge size, bathroom is fantastic, absolutely zero complaints or issues. Couldn’t recommend more

Lovely stay in this "mini apartment". Rob is great. Friendly but gave me my space. Also, at the last moment, got me to the station on time for a train when Uber didn't respond. Love to stay again.
Ps there is a nearby bus stop (the # 83 - every 30 mins until early evening) for service into town. Returning I got the 120 from town which stops about a 10 minute walk away.

Best digs I've ever stayed in! I had an absolutely amazing stay. The space is clean, spacious and so home-y. Easy connections into the theatre and lovely walks/outdoor spaces nearby. Rob was so kind and easy to communicate with. Hoping to tour back to Sheffield to be able to stay here again!

Rob’s studio is fantastic, it was so clean, and well equipped. I used the bus (2min walk) to the theatre, and an Uber back was £8-12. Well worth the journey in :)

What a delightful place! Robert was a fantastic host and was so accommodating of my intense theatre schedule, which I highly appreciated.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is private, spotless and comes with everything you need for a stay in Sheffield.

Communication was amazing and I will definitely be returning if I ever am in Sheffield. It is very easy to commute into the city centre.

Fantastic stay in Sheffield! Immaculate private space with a gorgeous view. Rob and Emily were ever so helpful and I particularly appreciated their attention to detail - the flat's got everything you need! I also enjoyed being just outside of city centre and near local parks/walking trails. The flat is only a short bus ride away from town, would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous place! Immaculate, beautifully decorated. And very quiet and relaxing as it’s just out of the main city centre by a tree filled park. Regular buses to the theatre on the half hour.
I would definitely stay again.

Best digs ever. Rob and Emily are fabulous hosts - hands off enough that you feel like you have your own space but right there if you need anything. The space is lovely - light, airy and the view is gorgeous.

Excellent. Great area to stay. I enjoyed the walk into the Lyceum, about 45 mins, but bus very easy. Uber home after the show is £8.
The apartment is fantastic, everything you need. I haven’t slept so well for a long time. Comfy, dark and silent.

A lovely studio which is very private in a quiet location. It would be great if you have a car as the buses aren’t very reliable but an Uber into the theatre wasn’t too expensive most of the time.
Robert was very helpful with any queries I had.

Great place to stay if you have a car. Short drive away from the centre near huge parks. Stayed here a couple of times and will book again for sure if I'm in Sheffield!

Lovely, well-designed flat overlooking Robert's house and Garden. Busses to town very infrequent, better to walk down the hill and through a lovely park to a main road, where buses will take to you to the Theatres - and even the Lyceum Stage door.

One of the best digs I've ever stayed in. Well equipped little kitchen, the most helpful hosts, incredibly private and very comfortable.
I drove in/ got an Uber but this was no issue at all considering how nice an area the digs are in.

Nothing will beat this place for the rest of the tour. It’s just heaven. Yes it’s an Uber back from the theatre but the area is totally worth it. Great community vibe. If you ever stay in Sheffield..stay here. There’s no question.

Yet again a brilliant stay with Robert in Sheffield. The studio is clean with everything you need. It probably suits a driver as it’s a little far out - you can pick up a bus in the day but needs to be an Uber back.

My experience here was so great I‘m almost hesitant to let the secret out of what a gem this place is. Self-contained cabin with own access and parking, tucked away in a leafy part of the city, close to Ecclesall Rd shops but on The Peaks’ doorstep.

Absolutely lovely digs. Cosy and good value for money. It’s right by the woods and a beautiful park. If you like walking it’s pleasant 45 min walk to the theatre if not the bus stop is really close and takes 15 mins max. I’d book again!

The apartment is beautifully situated at the top of Robert's garden with a breathtaking view onto a tree lined park. Robert couldn't be more accommodating and communication was quick and checkin was easy. 20 min bus ride into town. Highly Recommend!

Another great stay. I didn’t see Robert this time but communication was exceptional. It is about an hours walk from the theatre but on a good daytime bus route or there is good cheap parking in the Q Park. My 2nd time here and hopefully not my last.

Lovely clean, beautiful designed digs. Had everything I need for a comfortable stay. Rob and Emily and their family were very friendly and welcoming. Digs is about 50 minute walk from the centre or you can get a bus that takes about 25 mins.

This accommodation is beautiful and immaculate and amazing value for money. There's a bus which goes directly to stagedoor of the Lyceum Sheffield or its between £5-£7 in an Uber. I'd happily stay there again. Brilliant!

A beautiful, clean and modern little flat conversion. Can get cold, but it has the thickest duvet I’ve ever seen!! The owners are lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

These were lovely digs, they are away away from the theatre but in the most fabulous area and I really enjoyed the walk in. Lots of lovely cafes for breakfast in the morning and some great little shops, i would stay here again in a flash.
