What does this mean?

A modern, self-contained studio set within the peaceful walled garden of my home in Poole, with its own private entrance.

The studio offers a comfortable and private space to relax after a busy day, with a double bed, en-suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen area, Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi and dining space.

Ideally located for touring professionals, The Lighthouse is just a 15-minute walk away (or a short bus ride from the end of the road). Bournemouth Pavilion is also easily accessible by public transport.

Located approximately one mile from Poole town centre, the train station and bus station, the studio combines excellent transport links with a quiet and secure setting.

Having hosted many theatre professionals over the years, I understand the demands of touring life and aim to provide a welcoming home-from-home during your stay.

Guest Parking

Free on street parking is available outside the property.

The Area and Transport

The studio is located in a quiet residential area of Poole, approximately one mile from Poole town centre, Poole railway station and the main bus station.

The Lighthouse Theatre is around a 15-minute walk from the property, making it ideal for performers, crew and production staff working there. Alternatively, regular bus services run from the end of the road and take just a few minutes.

Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre is easily accessible by public transport, with a bus stop approximately 10 minutes' walk from the studio and a journey time of around 30 minutes into Bournemouth town centre.

Poole town centre offers a wide range of supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and shops, whilst Poole Quay and the harbour are also within easy reach.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts.

Whilst it is situated within the walled garden of my home, guests have their own space and privacy. You may occasionally see us in the garden, but interaction is entirely up to you.

Excluded Facilities

Guests have exclusive use of The Studio. The main garden, hot tub and other areas of the property are reserved for the hosts' private use.

The Studio is a peaceful, beautifully designed space for a short stay, with a comfy bed, great kitchen, plenty of natural light, and an excellent shower. An easy 20-minute walk to the Lighthouse Theatre. Rachel and Boot were welcoming and helpful hosts with great local tips, and their friendly whippet was a lovely bonus. Highly recommend — thank you!
