Living with Host

What does this mean?

The bedroom where you’ll stay has a double bed and black out blinds which are perfect for shutting the world out after a long day. You’ll have access to a newly decorated bathroom, large, shared kitchen and an open plan living room and dining room. Treat the house like your home, keeping it clean and tidy, and feel free to watch the telly. The house is in leafy Levenshulme which is close to Didsbury, Chorlton, Fallowfield, Withington, the four Heatons and Stockport. There are lots of shops and independent restaurants and bars so if you love eating out or dining in, you’ll have plenty of cuisines to choose from such as Italian, Middle Eastern, British, Indian and Pakistani. The famous Levenshulme market will be returning mid-April 2026.

Before you book, I’ve a few trips away planned, so it’s best to message me first to see if my time away suits your schedule. I would also appreciate it if I was given 48-hrs notice before you plan to stay.

Guest Parking

Free parking on my street. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac and you can turn your car around in the carpark directly opposite.

The Area and Transport

My beautiful home has natural light in abundance, is on a quiet street and has the most delicious bakery directly behind. It’s only a 7-minute train ride to the city centre and has direct buses to central locations and is easily accessible to Manchester’s theatres and filming studios including Aviva Studios (home of Manchester International Festival), Opera House, HOME, Lowry Theatre, Royal Exchange, MediaCityUK, Stockport Plaza, Palace Theatre, Contact Theatre and more.

Levenshulme is a great place to be and my home is within a few minutes walking distance to Highfield Country Park, Cringle Park and the beautiful green corridor Fallowfield Loop. Perfect if you love being outdoors!

Valerie is very friendly and accommodating. The house is clean tidy and quiet. A very nice place to stay.

I had such a lovely month in Valerie's home. It's exceptionally clean and it was a lovely place to hang out during the day before I went to work. It's less than 5 mins from Levenshulume station and only 10 mins on the train into Picaadilly Gardens. I used the 192 bus (the stop was a 5 min walk) and it was about 20/25mins into town and ran super regularly. Valerie was a fabulous host and really made sure I felt comfortable and warm in her home. Highly recommend!! Long Bois bakery is nearby!
