Living with Host
I have been a musician/music teacher all my life so the arts are very important to me which is why I am happy to open up my home to those working in theatre
** check in is from 3pm but with prior arrangement, an earlier check in may be possible. Check out is 10am **
Later check out may be arranged on arrival.
I have 2 lovely, spacious light dbedrooms within a 3 bedroomed semi detached house with outlook onto a pretty south facing garden.The rooms are newly decorated with lock & both have brand new beds & furniture in the room. The rooms are very quiet & there is (shared) bathroom & separate toilet. Full use of kitchen including air fryer, barista coffee machine & use of dining area, lounge & access to sunny garden.
I have security lights that come on when you approach the house.
Walking distance ( 4 minutes) to the train station and 35 minutes walk into the centre of Guildford & 30 minutes to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.The area is a pretty, and very safe village

There is parking onsite for one car.
The Area and Transport
Shalford is a quiet, pretty little village just 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre where there is the Yvonne Arnaud theatre, G-Live and Electric theatre. It has a train station a few minutes walk from my house and trains run to Guildford. There are also buses into Guildford and surrounding villages such as Cranleigh where there is another Arts venue. For those working at Yvonne Arnaud theatre, the bus drops you right outside the theatre.
** a card was left by my first guest who worked at YAT saying “Thank you for having me in your lovely home this week - it’s been such a lovely stay this week, so very welcoming and accommodating and it was all very much appreciated. Thanks again for your kindness “

I had a lovely stay at Nicky’s place. The house is lovely and has absolutely everything you could need for a stay. Nicky was so helpful and always available, even though she was on holiday!

Finding digs in Guildford was challenging but finding Nicky’s listing was just perfect! Lovely house, clean room, very comfortable bed and an easy bus ride to the theatre (stops directly outside). Nicky was a lovely host very considerate and welcoming!
