Living with Host
The flat is located in a Victorian tenement. I am not always there, both for my arts projects and as a carer, but my room stays private. You are sharing bathroom and kitchen.
Your room is located in a lovely ground floor apartment in a quiet cul-de-sac, with views out to both gardens. It is part of a traditional Edinburgh tenement from around 1900. The apartment has a large sit-in kitchen and 3 rooms of which one is available to my guests. The other 2 rooms are occupied by the family.
The modern yet rustic interior makes it a comfortable, good value base for your stay. I am an artist so there are paintings and photographs on all the walls.
Your guestroom has a comfortable double bed. There is a piano and a guitar in it, please feel free to play it during your stay. Sometimes the little piano is away when it is part of the Edinburgh Fringe or touring Europe.
Guest Parking
Parking is available on-street with parking meters. There is a parking garage very close by.
The Area and Transport
Your room is located in Tollcross, a central area within walking distance of many theatres and the town centre. Close by is the King's Theatre, which is being refurbished at the moment, and it's only a ten minute walk to the Festival Theatre.
There is a bus stop at the top of the street and we are very well connected to all other areas in town.

Ground floor with one step at main entrance. The guest room is the first room to enter from the hall. The toilet also has one step. I am happy to explain the whole flat to you if you have any questions.

I love children. Tell me the age of your child and ask me any questions you have. This flat is not child safe, you have to watch the child around sockets and such.
