Living with Host
Our double loft space is comfortable, and isolated from the rest of the house, with a private bathroom, so guests have their own space to relax in after a hard day/nights shift at the theatre.
Guests also have full use of the kitchen and living areas, including access to a washing machine and ironing facilities. We're very accommodating and will help wherever we can. If you need anything - just ask us!
As a reminder, the theatre is a short walk from our home, and the journey is simple, passing through a well-lit area of Northampton.
Guest Parking
Street parking is available without a permit.
The Area and Transport
The Royal & Derngate Theatre is a simple 15-minute walk away from our house. Our road connects to a main road leading into town, so the journey is well-lit if you're commuting at unsociable hours.
There are plenty of food options close by: Teco's Express, Sainsbury's, and a Co-op. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to takeaway options.
If you prefer public transport, then buses run regularly - the nearest bus stop is a 2-min walk away. There are also taxi options, as well as Uber. Northampton Train Station is 10 mins by car/taxi.

The Kreffers are a lovely family and couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful during my stay. The room is very comfortable with a well appointed en suite. An easy walk into the theatre too.

Tom and Charlie (and little Arlo, of course) were amazing hosts, very friendly, attentive, lovely people who want their guests to be comfortable. The room and house are well decorated and relaxing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again!

I had a lovely stay here. The room was lovely and clean and very spacious. I felt very safe and welcome here. Tom was such a great host. Was a quick walk to the theatre along a main road with supermarkets. I’ll defos be staying here again!
