What does this mean?

With free, safe parking and a sunny aspect, this private, lockable room with its own ensuite is just minutes from both the Marlowe and Gulbenkian, ideal for short or longer stays.
Energy healing available on request

Arrangements for use of the kitchen or washing machine on request at the time of booking. There is free parking at the front of the house and it takes just minutes to walk into Canterbury city centre.

The room is newly renovated, spacious and light, with a brand new carpet and purpose built ensuite.

Whilst the property is modern, 1990s, it has character and nice neighbours, a mix of nationalities. A working home, guests can live in privacy.

There is a sunny, homely garden complete with garden furniture.

Sheets, duvets and towels are provided and laundered free of charge.

The host is a busy friendly, outward going ex teacher who has embarked upon an alternative career path as an energy healer

Guest Parking

Private, secure, allocated guest parking is available in an allocated parking space on gravel visible at the front of the house

The Area and Transport

Canterbury West with its mainline connections to St Pancras (50 minutes to London) and Charing Cross/Victoria are just 15 minutes’ walk away.

The Malthouse is 10 minutes away, The Marlowe 15 minutes through safe, lit areas and the Gulbenkian, 25 minutes (University of Kent)

The lockable guest room has its own ensuite, additional fresh linen, television and clean towels.
It is private, quiet, calm and the energy is cleansed after each guest leaves.
The room and its private bathroom are thoroughly cleaned using Covid safe protocols each time a guest leaves

Excluded Facilities

The family bathroom and private rooms used by the host and, on occasion, her daughter, are not available for use by the guest.
The kitchen is available for general use by pre arrangement at the time of booking
The downstairs toilet is not for guest use
The sitting room is used by the hostess only

I had a brilliant time staying at Suzi’s place. Suzi was away that week but the communication and check in arrangements were perfect. I’ll definitely be back next time I come to the Marlowe.
