About these Digs

Living with Host

Large double bedroom in terraced house, close to the station, town and all venues. I’m an ex-theatre professional so am very used to people keeping odd hours and am happy for you to come and go as suits. There are also 2 cats in residence.
There are 3 steep flights of stairs in the house so it may not be accessible to everyone.

Guest Parking

On-street parking is free but does fill up on evenings and weekends. I recommend, once you’ve found a space, you leave your car here and walk to the venue.

The Area and Transport

10 minutes’ walk to the station and 15/20 to the Arts Centre, the Playhouse and town. The house is on the edge of town so there’s direct access to lovely walks/runs in the surrounding countryside.

Gina is a welcoming host. The room is large and light. The theatre is an easy , 15 minute, walk away, by the river. Or 5 minutes on the bus. Buses operated after the show too.
I enjoyed my 2 weeks there. We were teching and opening, it was a comfy haven.

Gina is an absolute joy, friendly and welcoming. The house is comfortable and full of character! Easy 20 minute wzlk to the theatre or 7 minute cycle. I was made to feel really welcome and I would definitely stay here again if I visit Salisbury in the future. Thank you so much Gina!

Parking on the road, and a 10 minute + walk to the playhouse.

Gina was a perfect host. The room is huge and right next to gorgeous walls and runs. Also very close to the Five Rivers Leisure Centre where I got a 7 day free pass to use the gym and pool - very worth checking out. Easy walk to theatre only 14 mins

Great Digs. Parking was an issue the one night I drove in and ended up parking 5 minutes walk away, staircase is narrow and may be awkward for a suitcase.
Otherwise great digs!

Gina was the most friendly and welcoming host! The bedroom was absolutely as described and I was so comfortable! It was a pleasure to chat to her about all things and the cats were a delight! Thank you so much for being so kind!!

I couldn't have asked for anything better! Gina's home was lovely and welcoming- as was Gina and the family. An easy night's sleep and conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again if I'm working in the area again.

Very welcoming, great room, comfy bed.

Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again on my next tour to Salisbury.
