Living with Host
We have received excellent results and have been doing Theatre Digs for nine years now.
I myself am a touring musician and understand the need for quality Digs and a reasonable price.
If you enjoy a retreat from the city itself, there are plenty of suburban areas nearby to get a nice coffee or a bite to eat in the up-and-coming Bourneville, Stirchley or nearby suburbs.
Guest Parking
£Free on street parking is available. Space is freely available during the day but at night time you may need to park a street or two away.
The Area and Transport
Transport into the city is really easy, with the relatively short bus ride from the Pershore Road which is a five minute walk from the property. Alternatively, you can get an Uber in the region of £6-8
If you enjoy walking or cycling, it’s about an hours walk to the alex/hippodrome and takes you through one of the largest parks in Birmingham, Cannon Hill Park.

Had a great stay at Andy's house, super accomodating and the room is a great size. I brought my bike with me and stored it in the back garden, was around a 25 minute cycle to the Rep. Beautiful surrounding parks, great location for supermarkets and also local cafes.. King heath being half an hour walk and stirchley being a 10 min walk.
Would absolutely stay here again, really felt like a home away from home!

Second stay here, Andy is great and communication is excellent. He works in the industry so understands the demands of touring. He was away on tour so his friend was looking after the house. She is a musician and very friendly and welcoming. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, brilliant host and lovely house.

Had a great stay here- slept well- lovely bed. Steep stairs ok for me but older may struggle- bathroom downstairs- lovely hosts- great value. Would happily stay again.

Andrew and Tom are such welcoming hosts. They understand the theatre trade and late night ins and outs and respect space. House is finished to a high standard, bus routes 45 and 47 direct links to bullring easy walking from there to Alex and hipp. Bed extremely comfortable, fantastic shower and cooking area. There is a spiral staircase to be aware of with big touring cases! I have no doubt I’ll be staying with Andrew again when I return to Brum. Rudi the dog will also steal your hearts!

The room is nice, on a quiet street and on a good bus route directly into town. Thom was friendly but unfortunately the shared spaces (kitchen and bathroom) weren’t very clean.

I had a wonderful stay with Andy and Thom and they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. The house is lovely and it's easy to get to the theatre. Rudi the Puli is gorgeous and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for digs in Birmingham!

I had a great stay at Andrew and Thom's. They were helpful and friendly and Rudi the dog is adorable! The room is lovely and spacious, transport links to the Hippodrome quick and if you prefer walking, the route through the nearby park is beautiful.

Bright and airy room with very comfy bed. Perfect location for those that enjoy a good walk as well as being a 10 min cab drive from the Alex. Would stay again!

Andrew and Thom were very welcoming fantastic hosts, and Rudi was adorable. My room was very comfortable and the shower great. An easy bus ride to the Alex (about 20 minutes). I Would highly recommend and would love to stay again when in Birmingham.

I couldn't have felt more welcome during my stay! The bed is v comfortable and the shower is great and the bus links/drive into town are quick.
Thom and Andrew are the loveliest hosts and with the addition of Rudi the Puli these digs are the best!

Had a very lovely stay here, clean, comfortable, and a lovely host. The bus stops around the corner and takes 15 minutes to central Birmingham. Will be back again!

Really comfortable stay with Andy, Thom and Rudy the Puli! Everything you need - comfortable bed, friendly hosts and the location is great. There's a bus every 5 mins from the end of the street into the city centre. Highly recommended!
