What does this mean?

About the rooms:

* Room 1. A large double near the city centre with good wifi, a desk and chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelves, as well as a full length mirror.
*Room 2. A cosy and bright single room with mirror, shelves, hanging space and under bed storage.
* 15 mins away from local theatres by public transport, 20-25 minutes on foot.
* Use of shared living area, dining room, kitchen & garden and primary use of the downstairs bathroom (I use a separate shower room so it's effectively all yours unless both rooms are taken). I know not everyone likes to share so am happy to guarantee you sole use of the bathroom for an extra £20 a week.
* Free on street parking outside the house.

Obviously super happy to have pairs of folks together in both rooms - just let me know when you’re booking so I make sure not to give the other room away.

The Area and Transport

My house is a Victorian Terrace in the Embankment/Old Meadows area of Nottingham. At the bottom of the road are playing fields, a park and the River Trent. It is very close to Trent Bridge (famous for the cricket ground) and Nottingham Forest Football stadium and the city centre is only a 10 minute walk away or the tram is a 2 minute walk from the house.

This space is shared with 1 Host and 1 other paying Guest.

The bathroom is a shared bathroom between both digs rooms unless you request to have exclusive use of it. Which I ask an extra £20 a week. Obviously if no one else books in but you've not requested exclusive use there is no extra charge.

Other rules

I really just want this to be a home away from home for folks on tour. So won't bat an eye if you're cooking in the middle of the night or pottering in your PJs at midday (theatre hours are weird). My only big requests are that you tidy up after yourself, make sure washing up is done before you go to bed and ask before having anyone to visit, mostly just so I know who's in the house. I have neighbours so ask people to be respectful and minimise any loud noises between 10pm-9am (though general pottering about/watching netflix etc is obviously more than fine! And I sleep like the dead so you never have to worry about waking me). I work from home 3 days a week, and always happy to chat over a cuppa or leave you to do your own thing as you'd prefer - totally get there are days you might not want to talk!
Smoking/vaping - outside in the garden only please. Check in times by arrangement.
