Large, quiet, and bright double room in in our charming Victorian terraced home on a serene but central pedestrianised street.

One large double bed, plus sofa-bed in the room that folds down to an additional small double bed.

Free on street parking nearby at the top of the street - ask for directions.

The Area and Transport

We are less than ten minutes walk to Whitley Bay Playhouse, the beach and Whitley Bay centre and shops. We're also a short commute to The Exchange in North Shields, and easily accessible to theatres in Newcastle City Centre (Theatre Royal, Northern Stage, Tyne Theatre, Alphabetti and Live Theatre) by public transport or a 25 minute drive. We've also had guests stay who have been working at the Customs House in South Shields and the Glasshouse in Gateshead travelling easily on the Metro.

Less than 5 minutes walk to nearest Metro station (Monkseaton) with regular services to Newcastle City Centre, Newcastle Central Station and Newcastle airport.

A lovely stay with Cait who made me feel very welcome. The house is ideally located in Whitley Bay and only a short walk to Laurels or to the sea. Clean and quiet.
