Living with Host

One beautiful small double room to rent.

It is tastefully decorated with art from all over the world and William Morris wallpaper. The room is bright and sunny and looks out over the pedestrianised street and garden.

You will have access to the kitchen with everything you need, there is also a dish washer and washing machine.

There is a large dining room that you can use. The bathroom has a shower and a bath.

The bedroom is in a Victorian terraced house, on a pedestrianised St with a community garden that you are welcome to sit in and enjoy.

I live with my partner Bayo. He often works from home during the week. He is quiet and respectful of other people's space
I also live with my cat called Florence.

I work 9-5 Monday - Friday, and go to bed early during the week, so the house is a quiet and peaceful place to be.

Guest Parking

Free parking in the surrounding streets, and back lane. There is also free parking next to the dentist on Heaton park view.

The Area and Transport

My house is near the arty Ouseburn area, that is full of great pubs, cafes, restaurants and artist studios. It is an easy walk to the quayside through the Ouseburn to get to the river Tyne, The Sage and The Baltic.

I am a few minutes walk from Heaton park, and 20 minutes walk from the city centre (Northumberland St). I am also on the convenient no 1 bus route that takes you straight to the centre of town, the Theatre Royal, and the train station.

It is easy to get to the Theatre Royal, the Live theatre, Alphabetti theatre and the Northern Stage. You can also get to the Sunderland Empire Theatre and The Customs House in South Shields on the metro.
