What does this mean?

Large room in a Victorian terrace house on a quiet street within a 15-minute walk of Shipley Station. Handy for both Leeds and Bradford city centres.

The bedroom has a new, luxury king-size bed, plus under-bed storage and a vintage wardrobe. The room is colour-drenched in a midnight blue with original Victorian floorboards and vintage Persian rugs, British Pop Art prints on the walls and light-blocking gold curtains on the window. Pet friendly!

High-speed internet included. The house has one bathroom (with a shower), a good-sized kitchen-diner and a super cosy sitting room. Oh, and there's a big cellar in case you want to chill your wine or store anything. There's a big back garden to soak up late afternoon sun.

As this is my home, it's more than just another rental place. It's a proper cosy home to retreat to after working in Bradford or Leeds.

Guest Parking

There is on-street parking either at the front or rear of the house.

The Area and Transport

Super convenient for Bradford or Leeds theatres.
Train: 15-minute walk to Shipley Station (approx 7x direct trains to London per day). 7 minutes to Bradford Forster Square or 15 minutes to Leeds.
Bus: frequent 662 buses into Bradford.
By car: 3 miles from the Alhambra in Bradford and 10 miles from the Leeds Grand or Playhouse.

Within a 10-minute walk, there is a big Asda for shopping, plus all the pubs and shops of Shipley. Within a 20-minute walk is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire Village with excellent restaurants and quirky shops. Lots of big parks and beautiful moors surrounding the area!
