Living with Host

What does this mean?

Hosting for theatre professionals for nearly 10 years our guests enjoy our welcoming friendly nature, we have many guests who have returned multiple times.

Both of our guest rooms are located on the second floor of the property and each has a Freeview Play TV (Turquoise Room also has a Sky TV) & blackout blinds / curtains

There is access to super fast, unlimited WI-FI throughout the house 24/7
Both rooms have multiple electric sockets + 2 USB charging ports.

Towels & Robe are provided for your convenience.

We welcome smokers in our home, however we request you smoke in the yard at the back.

Guests are welcome to share our kitchen and lounge both have Sky TV (inc Cinema & Sport)

The pictured bathroom with shower & toilet is shared with the owner and is located on the first floor of the property along with additional loo (not pictured).

There is on street parking available (free of charge / no permit requirements)

The Area and Transport

Our home is located in a quiet residential area a 2 mile walk from Newcastle City Centre and just a minute away from Ilford Road Metro Station.
Theatre Royal, Northern Stage, Tyne Theatre & Opera House, Live Theatre, and The Glasshouse are all easily commutable.
There is a fantastic selection of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Metro commute from our home to local theatres:
Northern Stage: Ilford Road to Haymarket 5 minutes then a minute walk.
Theatre Royal: Ilford Road to Monument, 7 minutes then a minute walk.
7 day Metro pass for Zone 1 = £13.80 (unlimited journeys)

There is a fantastic selection of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay here with Oriel and Kim, so relaxed and all transport from the wonderful area was super easy! Would absolutely recommend and I will book again straight away when im back in Newcastle. Thank you!
