Easy access to the motorways and central Leeds 5 mins. drive. 25 mins walk to theatres. 8 mins. drive (DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC). Local busses nearby. There are five spacious bedrooms . There is a pretty bathroom with bath and washbasin , also a separate shower room with toilet and washbasin. There is another toilet on the ground floor. Kitchen is large and shared, with a television. Free wifi. Five sets of keys. Rooms are not let separately. The property is self contained and let as one.

Perfect digs for five of us- spacious, well equipped, and Carole couldn't have been more friendly. Walkable to the theatre in abiout 25 mins and an easy cab ride at night. Recommended.

Thank you for leaving a lovely message in the guest book. The house celebrates 25 years of looking after theatre guests, I am so glad it is still recommended as a lovely place to stay for touring companies. The pandemic damaged its suitability , but at last it is seen again as an exceptional cheaper alternative when budgets are tight and the comfort it offers is appreciated.
I booked the accommodation and am unaware of the broken lamp so can only apologise for this. The host has keys so will let themselves in. Be aware of making any noise due to the basement flat. Strong smell of cannabis pretty much constantly.

Ideal house for sharers. Well equipped, warm, comfortable, homely. Carole is easy to contact and a pleasure to rent from. Secure parking behind the house is very helpful... car park ticket stamped at stage door, means £7.50 a day parking.

Carole's house is amazing - a great and unique blend of character and comfort! Carole was also a brill host; accommodating, helpful and very quick to respond if we had any questions. Walk into town isn't too long but plenty of taxis around.

Thanks Kristy. Aware we are not in the city centre, but for me worth it to have the car park and trees ! 10 mins. drive to the theatre. 5 mins. drive to city square. So glad you enjoyed the house.
We had a wonderful stay. All the rooms were clean, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. It's an easy if not short walk to the theatre but Leeds also has Uber's which we used to get home at night. We would definitely stay here again.

I am so glad your stay was a happy one. I love the short distance from town as it means we have trees to look upon rather than walls , however I am aware that the half hour walk to the theatre can be difficult for some.

Location is not perfect , despite its easiest access to town. Just a bit concerned that cleanliness and friendliness was not considered first class, would love to know how we let you down. I need to put any fault right. Sad you did not let me know.
