Living with Host
Ground floor accommodation. Own entrance. Accessed via a gate with a code. Privacy film on the double glazed windows; so quiet too! Spacious wet room with loo & basin. Double bed. wardrobe with loads of hanging space. Other pegs around for coats 'n' 'ats. Towels & bed linen provided. More if needed. Accommodation payable on arrival.
Guest Parking
There is off road parking behind gates, if more than 1 space is needed there is permit parking £1.50 a day. Most people just leave the car parked for the duration of their stay. There's no free parking in town centre.There's no point taking the car into town, unless you've got a blue badge, even that's tight, or you're going out of town, eg The Bacon Theatre. There is an outside electric point, not a fast charge for cars, specifically, but it can be taken off the mains socket for charging, as a pre arranged additional costed facility. I'm waiting to get one installed by my energy provider, watch this space.
The Area and Transport
Everyman Theatre is 15 mins walk away, 15 from train the station, 10 from buses. 5 from 'take away alley', The town hall is 15. Stone's throw from a large supermarket, open til midnight, another one 5 away towards town. Yes, there are some eateries and drinkeries from 5 to 20 away. I've tried most of them!

This space is shared with 1 Host.
The property is accesssed via a coded side gate. Your room is accessed via an external door through the dining room. There are large french doors in the bedroom that look out onto the garden. This has privacy film. You have your own wet room with a loo and basin. The only space you will share, with the owner is the kitchen. There is a sitting area in the kitchen. Use of a spacious dining room which is accessed from the bedroom. There's a large area outside that has tables & chairs. There is, in your room, a fridge and a kettle for making hot drinks. A desk with a lamp, and an armchair. I may have the occasional visitor staying aswell.
Excluded Facilities
I have an office area not available to be accessed, and my own separate bathroom, also two more private rooms. I have my own front door.

The Host states that their property supports accessibility
There is access and there's access. There is step free access to the property which can be done though various doors, but the pavement outside is rubbish. If you need to hire any equipment this can be arranged. The room was previously occupied by a wheelchair user, although there are now no grab rails, so it's more suited to someone with limited walking ability or has difficulty using stairs. Speak to me about any access needs.

Louisa has been such a lovely host. Warm, kind, welcoming, and always thoughtful. It’s been a real pleasure getting to know her, and she made me feel completely at home throughout my stay. I’d happily stay again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly and caring host.
