Living with Host
Double bedroom in a First Floor Flat in a house conversion in West Hampstead, North West London, with shared use of kitchen, bathroom/WC and lounge. Very close to a choice of bus stops (good for coming home at night); and within walking distance of a choice of tube and train stations.
Stay with a like-minded host who shares your interest in theatre and the performing arts, who is also an arts professional and understands the demands of the industry. My flat, in which I have lived for a long time, is a first floor flat with high ceilings and plenty of light; there is a flat below and a flat above, with very quiet neighbours. Visitors always remark on how welcoming my flat is, and how comfortable they feel in it.
Access information: there are two and a half flights of stairs (20 steps in total) from the communal front door to my Flat's door, with no lift. There are also 4 steps from the main part of the flat down to the kitchen and laundry room.
Guest Parking
Address is on a red route, so very limited parking options outside the property. Various parking options (paid and unpaid) in adjacent side roads, all subject to usual parking restrictions. There is a big car park at the Sainsburys 20 minutes down the road.
The Area and Transport
Great location - just 5 minutes away from the heart of West Hampstead; ten minutes away from Hampstead. Excellent bus, tube, Thameslink and London Overground links from West Hampstead and Finchley Road. Local theatres include Hampstead Theatre and the Kiln; very easy access into Central London and beyond. Wide range of supermarkets and local shops in the vicinity. It's a short walk to Hampstead Heath; and we have a small park around the corner, if you want to walk in nature when you're not working.

This space is shared with 1 Host.
The Guest will have sole use of a Double bedroom (by agreement, the Guest can give access for a cleaner to clean the room if desired). There is no lock on the bedroom door as it would invalidate my tenancy; this is a room for a lodger in my home, not a sub-let.
The kitchen, lounge, bathroom (lockable door) / WC (lockable door), box/laundry room and entrance area are shared spaces with the Host. The entrance to the flat has a modern security / fire door.
Excluded Facilities
The 'master' bedroom is for the Host's sole use, and not for Guest use.
