Living with Host
A quiet and comfortable room to rest after a busy show with a private bathroom and free parking on my drive.
Private bathroom has a shower and bath with towels.
Bedroom has plenty of storage and blackout curtains. Also has an electric blanket and independent radiator.
Access to kitchen facilities with cooker, kettle, microwave, air fryer, washing machine and space in the fridge and a cupboard. Tea and coffee are provided.
Guest Parking
There is free off road parking available on my drive at the front of my house.
The Area and Transport
My home is on a quiet estate with a private drive for a guest’s car. I offer a private bathroom.
Regular bus routes and tram services are found within a 5 minute walk providing easy access to Blackpool’s main theatres ie The Grand and the Opera House/Winter Gardens. There is also a bus route to Lytham Pavillion.
There is a Lidl supermarket within a ten minute walk, a Morrisons within a 20 minute walk which also has a petrol station. There is a M&S Foodhall in St Anne’s centre which is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bus ride.
There is a local Chinese takeaway, Indian takeaway and a breakfast/lunch cafe within a 5 minute walk.
There is a McDonalds and a Greggs within a 20 minute walk.
There is a beach and a promenade within a 5 minute walk.
St Anne’s town centre has a Toby carvery and some very pleasant coffee houses, cafes and restaurants.

The guest will have a private double bedroom with a lock on the inside. They will also have sole use of a bathroom with a bath and shower. The host will make it clear if the bathroom needs to be shared before accepting the booking although this is highly unlikely.

I had an absolutely lovely stay with Gillian, she is so friendly and welcoming, and her home is beautifully presented and spotless. It was a really comfortable stay with everything I may have needed provided, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Gillian was a fantastic host and the house was spotless and very comfortable. She’s genuinely one of the loveliest people to stay with, and my time there was made really easy and enjoyable.
My daily bike ride to the theatre by the sea was a real highlight while working on *The Beekeeper of Aleppo* at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool. Highly recommended.

Gillian was an amazing, super warm and friendly host. The house is new and modern, right by the beach. Parking on the drive is a huge bonus just like the private bathroom. Easy to get to the theaters in Blackpool via bus and/or tram. Would happily return any time!

I really enjoyed my time at Gillian's. It's very much out of the hustle and bustle of Blackpool with a very easy bus route or tram ride. You can get a weekly tram/bus ticket for about £23. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. And having your own Bathroom is a real bonus.

These are perfect digs for a week in Blackpool. Ideal if you have a car but if you like a walk or you're happy taking the tram, it's so easy to get to the theatres. The room is fantastic and comfortable and having your own bathroom is a lovely perk. Gillian is everything you could want in a host, and you really feel like you're in a home. I'll absolutely stay again when I'm next in Blackpool

Both Gillian and her home are an absolute delight. A beautiful room and bathroom, as well as a great sense of being welcome and free to feel at home. Off-street parking and quiet location are a great bonus, as well as proximity to public transport links, if required. I hope Gillian will be available and willing to have me stay the next time I work in Blackpool area.

Gillian is a wonderful host and her home is immaculate, very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, own bathroom , off st. parking and very easy transport to City centre by bus or tram. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely digs a short tram ride away from the noise and business of town. Everything was spotlessly clean and Gillian was so welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
