Living with Host
I'm offering one room in my two bedroom apartment in the heart of the commercial district in the city. Situated in the The Albany, a grade II listed building, you'll be able to stay in a beautiful historic site and one of the most unique places to stay in Liverpool. The flat is well maintained and decorated with a plethora of stunning artwork, including a mural that wraps around the entire hallway and entryway.
The apartment is across two floors. The open plan living space, kitchen, dining area and balcony are on the first floor, the two bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the lower level. You have access to all amenities, including the washer and dyer due to electricity usage, you'd only be able to put them on certain times of the day.
Guests will have access to their own bathroom, guest room and the open plan living area. The bed in the guest bedroom folds out into a King size bed - perfect for two people. Free parking is no longer available from mid September.
As I tend to travel a lot (esp on weekends) and work outside of the home, you'll most likely have the place to yourself. The location is central and is 1 min walk away from two supermarkets, a Pret a Manger and a Starbucks and several restaurants. Lime street station is a 15 mins walk away and a 20 min walk away from Everyman Theatre. The Albany has a 24/7 concierge service and the office will be able to help with any needs should I be away or if you encounter any issues.
Check in is from 2pm and check out is noon. If you need to come earlier or later from that period, please let me know and we can negotiate.

I definitely have made a friend from this experience. 15-20 min walk to the theatre or 2 minutes by metro which you can get from moor fields which is a 1 min walk from her place. Ayo was a lovely and welcoming host. Her flat was clean and charming, filled with her beautiful art collection, and set in a historic building. The location is both convenient and peaceful, with easy access to shops, food, and the harbour.
It’s about a 15–20 minute walk from the Empire Theatre and I always felt safe walking back after shows. I really enjoyed staying there!

Ayo’s place was so lovely and clean and the room was so cosy! Communication was very efficient and the location is ideal. I very much hope I can stay if I’m in Liverpool again!

Had to cut my booking short as not suitable for a long-term stay. The bathroom & bedroom have no natural light, the window pictured is to an external, communal corridor with a 24/7 security light which illuminates the room with no blackout blind. There's no wardrobe or drawers so you are unable to unpack. Ayo is a communicative host, the area is lovely & there's contactless check in. It might be OK for a few days but not for the month I had booked it for.

Hi Eli, thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your suggestion about the blackout blind, and I'll arrange for it to be installed. I did notice the room and bathroom were left untidy when you departed. The desk and chair were provided per your request, though drawers weren't ever included. I would have preferred if you had communicated any concerns before leaving and while I aim to provide a comfortable experience, please understand that my home isn't run like a hotel. I hope your new place!
Ayo was such a brilliant host! Fab location - 15 min walk from Empire, space as photographed and own bathroom. Ayo was a super friendly, relaxed host. Recommend these digs.

Had a lovely weeks stay in Liverpool with Ayo! Had some last minute travel changes and she was super accommodating.
Big draw was how amazing it was to stay in the iconic Albany building as well! Would definitely stay if I was in Liverpool again!

I had a lovely stay with Ayo, she was incredibly welcoming and made me feel relaxed to be there. The flat is in a fascinating building, in a great area, and easy to walk to The Playhouse. We had some great conversations. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Ayo.

I had a pleasant stay with Ayo, her flat is nicely decorated & she will make you feel welcome. The bed is a fold-out bed so you will notice a line where the 2 parts meet, but is not bad for short stays. The location is ideal, easy 15min walk to the theatre. I stayed during the winter so it was colder but there was a radiator in the room which was helpful. Had to pay a little extra on top of the listed price for electricity when my partner visited but was communicated well. Thanks for hosting me

Ayo was an amazing host! I felt right at home and could properly relax in the space. 15min walk from the theatre in the heart of town. Ayo was easy to communicate with upon my arrival and departure. Would 100% recommend!

I had a lovely stay with Ayo! She was extremely friendly and welcoming. I definitely felt like i was in a home away from home. Her place was clean and comfortable and she was happy for me to use things in the kitchen. Would definitely stay there again! Just have an eye mask handy. X

I had such a lovely stay with Ayo. She made me feel very at home and was always willing to help me by providing useful information. The property is in such a great location with lots to do around and an easy walkable commute to the theatre. 10/10 😊
