Living with Host
3 Storey Town house with 4 bedrooms of which there are 1 Double and 2 Singles available to rent with bed linen provided. Guests have the use of:;_well equipped Dining Kitchen with Conservatory adjacent to west facing garden. Basic food supplies included, bread milk and cereals. A comfortable Lounge with T.V. and D.V.D..Full bathroom with [REMOVED] on First Floor and separate Shower room with [REMOVED]on Ground Floor. Parking for up to 2 Cars. Hippodrome is 20 Minute walk, cheap Taxis are available.

Parking for two cars out the front, also near at hand other parking if needed.

Easy walking distance to the Theatre. Pleasant residential area .

Calm, quiet stay and a nice little place overall. The walk up isn’t too bad.
It’s cash only for payment, and make sure to arrange a check in time a few days before arriving.

Sorry you were surprised that I only deal with cash. I am an Old Lady and have used cash as for many years. (30 odd years) and have never had any problems before. Pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you might come again. Wendy
A great place to stay in Darlington, the walk to and from the theatre was very calm and not too bad! Wendy is a very gracious host and staying here will always make you feel right at home

Place is comfortable, Wendy is really nice and location is about 25 min walk to the Hippodrome so not too bad! It’s a nice walk.
Just make sure you bring cash to pay the balance as the host doesn’t accept bank transfers. This was communicated on my arrival and not beforehand, so thought of leaving a note here so future guest can have time to prepare.

Had a great stay with Wendy. Booked very last minute, she has a lovely house a little out of the town centre. She is very welcoming and made me feel right at home. She also has a wonderful record of everyone who's stayed with her and the show they were on, spanning back over 20 years.

Had a lovely time staying with Wendy! She was the perfect host, very hospitable and welcoming even picked me up and dropped me off to the train station. Room was clean/tidy and bed was comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again if in Darlington!! Thanks so much Wendy x

Wendy’s place really is a home from home, with a long history of theatre guests!
It was warm, clean and comfortable. I’d recommend anyone to stay here if they don’t mind a longer stroll into Darlington :)

I had a wonderful time staying in Darlington, it was a pleasure. Wendy was a lovely and kind host, and the room was very comfortable. Bill was very kind to pick me up from the station and drop me to the station at the end of the week, which was much appreciated. And the theatre was a 30 minute walk away, which is more than ideal. Will definitely return should I find myself in Darlington again!

I had a wonderful stay here! Everything was warm, welcoming and spotless, with a comfortable bed, desk space to work at, and a beautiful conservatory and garden. Both Wendy and Bill were lovely, engaging hosts, and I very much hope to stay again!

Staying at Wendy's was a dream, a lovely house very close to the centre. A clean and tidy space that was maintained throughout the week. I could not recommend staying here enough!!
