Victorian House - (City Centre) Double Bed with Private Bathroom (Plymouth)

A cosy and comfortable room available with either a double or single bed option, plus your own private bathroom (located downstairs). The room includes a TV with Netflix, fast WiFi, and plenty of space to store and hang clothes or luggage.

You’re very welcome to help yourself to toast or cereal for breakfast, and to make use of the kitchen and shared living spaces.

I’ve recently bought my home and am really enjoying renovating and adding character to it. Steph is a singer (and also works in education), and I’m a full-time musician. When we’re not working, we’re usually busy improving the house, hunting for quirky artwork, or testing far too many paint samples!

You’ll be sharing the house with the two of us. We both work a lot, so the house is often calm and quiet—no noisy rehearsals to worry about. We’re friendly, sociable, and excited to welcome fellow creatives, especially those working in theatre.
We also have a friendly puppy called Pearl who lives with us.

Guest Parking

On my road and surrounding roads, it is free to park before 2pm and after 7pm. Between 2pm and 7pm it’s only free for permit holders. . We are limited to the amount of visitor tickets we can purchase from the council but of course will have a couple spare for you if you need.

There are a handful of cheap car parks (to leave your car all day if required) and we are just a 19min walk from the train station.

The Area and Transport

Mutley, Plymouth is a great place to live. Theatre Royal Plymouth is less than 30 mins walk or a quick bus ride away. Alternatively, we now have Uber in the city! The walking route is well lit and busy. Plymouth station is 17mins walk. My house is close to the university which means plenty of places to eat, drink and be entertained. We’re within a 5/10 min walk of just about anything you’d need: supermarkets, chemist, post office, artisan bakers, banks, bars, restaurants etc. We’re also just a 15 min stroll to The Box which is a fabulous award winning art gallery and museum (with a great little café). The town centre, Plymouth Hoe, Tinside Lido, historic Barbican and cinemas are all within walking distance too.
