Self-Contained

What does this mean?

Each cottage is unique and converted from either the old cattle shed or the stable block - often room sizes were dictated by the original beams which we have tried to retain. They all have full kitchens (except 2 Stables) equipped with oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge etc and a seating area. Each cottage has separate outdoor furniture, there is a designated smoking area and disposable BBQs are available on request. There is free Fibre Wifi throughout which can be used for Wifi Calling as mobile phone signal is not good because we are in a valley. The communal games room has pool, table tennis, laundry facilities and can also be used as a dining or meeting area for larger groups.
1 Mill has two double bedrooms and two ensuites showers.
2 Mill and 3 Mill have a twin, double and bath.
1 Stables has twin, shower and double sofabed.
2 Stables has double fold out daybed and shower.

Plenty of free parking.

The Area and Transport

We are in a rural area but only 15 minutes from Ashford and 20 minutes from Canterbury, where The Marlowe Theatre attracts guests for all around the world. The village of Wye is 4 miles away with a train station connecting to the High Speed Link (38 minutes) so we are a convenient base for all the London theatres as well. There is a school bus morning and evening going to Canterbury and Ashford.
