About these Digs

Living with Host

What does this mean?

My attic room with en-suite includes a breakfast bar with a microwave, kettle & toaster with a small fridge under counter a tv on wall with remote control. A double bed in room i prefer one person for room, occasionally i will accept a friend or partner to stay i charge £35 per night per one person, my tenant & i would have to come to an agreement in advance.
My single room has one single bed, sharing with host bathroom & kitchen plus back garden area.
Tennant in attic is welcome to use kitchen & back garden area.
Host provides bedding & towels.

Guest Parking

Parking is for everyone to share on street, no payment.

The Area and Transport

Palace theatre, Oxford rd is a 10mins journey by bus from my house after you have a couple of minutes walk to theatre.
Opera House, 3 Quay st., is a 10mins journey by bus from my house after there's a 10mins walk to threatre.
Royal Exchange, St. Ann Sq, 20mins journey by bus from my house - you have to go into city centre then you have a 10mins walk down Market st, to get to theatre.
All the above theatres the bus stop is 5mins from my house, bus number 86 & 15 will take you to Palace threatre & Opera House - you can also take the bus number 86&15 to city centre.
Lowery, you have a 10mins walk to bus stop from my house bus number 53 takes you to Salford Quays, about 25mins journey then you have a 10mins walk to theatre.
Don't forget to add extra time for traffic on the road!!
To get to Tram station is about 25mins walk from my house, you can get bus number 86 & 15 will take you to city centre to get all trams.

Had a lovely stay in the en-suite room at Norma's. Great to have the facilities provided and a short walk to the bus stop. Very quiet street. Norma was a brilliant host and I'll most certainly be returning if I'm ever in Manchester again. Thanks Norma!
