Living with Host

What does this mean?

A lovely spacious second floor room with double bed and views over the back garden, in very quiet Victorian house.

Everyone comments on how comfy the bed is. Although it's under the eaves, so has a sloping ceiling.

The room has its own private bathroom with bath/shower/loo. The bathroom is also in the eaves and the shower is not ideal if you're tall, but you are welcome to use the one in the family bathroom. The second flight of stairs is quite steep, so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues.

Access to kitchen by arrangement.
Smoke and pet-free household.
Quiet house and area, just my husband and me. Please, no smokers/vapers (not even if you go outside for it!).

The Area and Transport

We are so close to the theatre, town and the train station, just less than 3 minutes' walk. (The Arts Centre is about a 12 minute walk). Lovely quiet area right next to a beautiful park, Elizabeth Gardens.

Theatre-approved (we're also on Wiltshire Creative's digs list)

We generally ask for at least a week's notice before a booking - nothing last minute please unless it's for a lengthy period :)

Your bedroom and bathroom would be totally private to you while you're here. The family bathroom is sharable if you'd prefer to use the shower in that one. Kitchen available but best to confirm times so we aren't all trying to cook at the same time.

Louise & Ade were great hosts. Friendly, communicative & professional. These are great digs, located 5 minutes walk from the theatre. The double room & private bathroom were perfect. Highly recommended. Many thanks for having me. Best Jason.
