Living with Host

What does this mean?

We offer a comfortable room on the ground floor with private bathroom, close to the front door for your privacy. Your kitchen is off the main kitchen. It is not large, but it is fully equipped with sink, cupboards, microwave, electric cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle, pans etc
There is a welcome tray in your room with coffee, various teas etc. The Aga in the main kitchen ensures that the house is always warm. Bedlinen and towels are provided, along with an electric blanket, extra blankets, free wifi and the use of a washing machine.
We are familiar with the long hours you work and we will not disturb you.

Guest Parking

We have space for up to five cars on our drive.

The Area and Transport

Our house is ideally situated for the theatre, being a pleasant ten minute walk in a safe area down the main road or across a park. There is a small supermarket nearby and we are on a bus route going into Chichester centre. We are also near open countryside with a well-used footpath/cycle track a couple of minutes walk away.

A warm room, under 10 Minute walk straight to the theatre, and an Aga in the kitchen! What more could you want from some digs? Mary is a great host, and made my first time in Chich a memorable and comfortable one. I'll definitely try to stay here again when I'm next in Chichester!

I had a really lovely week staying with Mary and Derek. I was made to feel very welcome and Mary made sure I had everything I needed. Also, the location is perfect for Chichester Festival Theatre. Just a short, very pleasant walk across the park.
