What does this mean?

Lovely big room with pretty views. Great easy access by bus and on foot to the city centre where the main theatres are. Great area with nice pubs and cafes 5 mins from the house. Friendly family and dog!

Guest Parking

Parking is tricky. We can accommodate a car if absolutely necessary but there will be a small additional fee of £5/day for this.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts and 1 child.

You have a private double bedroom with a small ensuite shower room. There is a small fridge, kettle and microwave in the room for your use.
Our kitchen is a private space for our family. However, we are happy to you to pop in to the kitchen to use crockery and cutlery and the dishwasher and/or wash your things up. There is tea and coffee, sugar and milk provided for you in the bedroom. We are very accommodating and friendly so please do just ask if you need anything that we haven’t provided for you.

Excluded Facilities

Both bedrooms and family bathroom on the second floor and the sitting room downstairs are private rooms not for use by our guests.
Although we are happy for you to pop into the kitchen and get what you need and have a chat if we are in there, we do not want guests to use the kitchen to cook, eat or relax in as this is a much used family space.

Highly recommend Catherine's digs. She was a great host - good communication and very thoughtful and accommodating. The room was absolutely lovely and tucked away at the top of the house which gives you a sense of privacy. Shops and cafes just round the corner and an easy quick bus into town, or a lovely walk. Thanks Catherine and family!
