Living with Host
The room is a downstairs bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The bedroom can be shut off from the main house and have its own door if you prefer.
WIFI is superfast and although the barn has thick walls with extenders the room we are talking about has 75mbps. If you need to send or download anything faster we have up to 600mbps wifi closer to the router.
The hosts are a married couple one retired the other semi retired. One does crafting (we have Alpacas and we use the fleece) and the other plays in a covers band 'The Final Drop Off'. For the musician 'in you' we have a baby grand piano a number of guitars, amps and a PA. If you are a drummer and want to bring breakables we have a kit.
We have a dedicated gym with Rower, Elliptical Trainer and free and fixed weights. Outside there is a small heated pool which we heat in the summer months when there is a decent run of good weather.

We have ample parking on our drive to accommodate any vehicle (artic excepted).
The Area and Transport
The room is in a barn conversion in a village 5 miles from the centre of Milton Keynes (MK Theatre), 3 miles from Kiln Farm (MK11 venue) and 2 miles from Wolverton (Craufurd Arms and Unit 9). The Stables is on the other side of the City so c10 miles, there are probably more suitable digs nearer to that venue.
There is no public transport and the walking is not easy so this accommodation is best suited for those with a car and in particular someone doing a number of shows at say the theatre or travelling onto a nearby town the following day. Taxis are clearly available but add to your cost, as hosts we may be able to give lifts at certain times of the day but obviously you cannot rely on us.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts and 2 other paying Guests.
There is one double bedroom and ensuite. By agreement on arrival there is a door that separates the room from the rest of the house and this can be closed which would also give an exclusive outside door. There are no locks however, and this would be all on trust. I imagine in reality free access to the main house is sensible and we can agree boundaries.
Excluded Facilities
Beyond the snug and large kitchen diner would probably be off bounds in the evening but if someone wants to play with the instruments then by agreement they can. If we are not in the all of the downstairs is OK. Guests are free to use the gym and the small pool in summer if heated.

If you wish to smoke or Vape this should be done outdoors there is a ton of space (perhaps not next to the oil tank). MK has designated recycling and we have a system for all and would encourage you to help. If shoes can be removed in the hallway next to the bedroom that would be great.

This is a private Barn Conversion in a village with safe off street parking. There is no mains gas, heating is by oil fired boiler which is less than one year old. It will, as its predecessor, be serviced annually. There are no pets.
We will clean the room thoroughly after each guest and fresh bedding and towels will be provided. We will provide hand wash and shower gel and shampoo.
