Living with Host

What does this mean?

Three double rooms, one ensuite, the others with guests' sole use of family bathroom, in a tranquil area on the south side of the town yet fully accessible to Tunbridge Wells. Full use of kitchen and living areas. We also have a pleasant terrace and garden for when the weather is fine, and in summer we may well have the hot tub up and running! Friendly and helpful hosts.

Parking available on the drive directly outside the property.

The Area and Transport

We have three guest rooms - all comfortable double rooms - available for guests. The area is safe and tranquil with next to no traffic noise, and parking on the drive to the front of our house. The renowned Pantiles, station and town centre are walkable in about 20 minutes; local buses will also take you into the town (bus stop 5 minutes away).

This space is shared with 2 Hosts and 5 other paying Guests.

One double bedroom has a double (4' 6") bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a modern en-suite shower room for your sole use. The door to the bedroom is lockable.

The second double bedroom contains a double (4' 6") bed, wardrobe, chair, drawers and shelves, and you will have use (shared only if there is another Guest staying) of the modern family bathroom, with shower, bath, washbasin and loo, during your stay. Doors to the bedroom and bathroom are both lockable.

The third double bedroom has a bay window and contains a king-sized bed, chair, drawers and shelves. You will have use (shared only if there is another Guest staying) of the modern family bathroom, with shower, bath, washbasin and loo, during your stay.

Downstairs you are welcome to relax with us in any of our rooms including a large sitting room, kitchen, dining room (with baby grand piano!) and study. We have a pleasant private terrace and garden if the weather's fine.

John and Mike were absolutely fabulous hosts! So sweet to talk to! Felt like I was visiting family more than working. The digs were a super quick drive to the theatre and the room was brilliant. 10/10 Would definitely stay again!

I had a fantastic time staying at John’s. The room was super cosy, I felt very welcomed and really felt I could treat the house as a home. The facilities were great- had everything I could possibly need. John was ace and I enjoyed spending some time with him. I briefly met Mike too, who was also lovely. I’d recommend and would love to stay again.

Loved staying with John and Mike in their lovey home it was so comfortable and like a home from home for me, they were great host's and went out of their way to accommodate me in every possible way. John and Mike we're beyond helpful! Can't say enough how lovely these 2 men were.
Great at communicating- helping me last minute, helping find the house, helping me around the area.
Making sure I was looked after.
The house is very clean and very homely. My room had everything I needed.
I was working in Paddock Wood and the drive was easy.
Spare fridge and cooking facilities available as well as parking.
100% would stay again.

Wonderful overnight stay with John in Tunbridge Wells. Very quiet location, could not have been more welcoming. Very comfortable. Gave me a delicious, totally unprompted dinner and I could not have been more grateful for their company and kindness.
