Living with Host

The house is a pleasant three-storey terrace, located in a residential area, in Bearwood.

I am a two-minute walk from the main High St, which has various shops (including an Aldi, Argos, and Iceland) as well as cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Lightwoods park is at the end of the road; Warley Woods and golf course is about 10 minutes on foot.

The bedroom is a large double room on the top floor, with an en suite bathroom (including a shower, toilet, and washbasin). You are free to use the kitchen, dining room and sitting room on the ground floor as you wish.

The kitchen includes an oven and hob, as well as a microwave and washing machine.

Smokers are welcome, but please smoke in the garden rather than the house. On-road parking is free, but is available only on a first-come-first-served basis.

Several bus routes connect Bearwood to the City Centre (in less than 20 minutes). The main bus stop is about 1 minute on foot from the house.

I am an academic working in music; therefore I am sometimes away owing to work commitments.

Nice upper room. En suite bathroom a big plus. James was very helpful with information about Birmingham and transportation, etc. Enjoyed chatting and sharing an occasional drink of an evening. Lovely back garden. Great restaurants nearby.

A lovely big room with en-suite. James was a lovely host and very welcoming, and the room was comfortable. It is a drive or bus ride away. If you have a car you might have to park on the next street over but I always found a parking place. Would stay with James again. Thank you for your hospitality

James is a lovely host - helpful, responsive and even makes a great saag paneer! The house and rooms are big and spacious, and the kitchen has all the pans etc you need. It's well connected to the centre with buses every 10 mins. Thanks!
