The accommodation is on the second floor and consists of a double room, sitting room, kitchenette and toilet/shower. The semi-detached house has garden and garden room access in a pleasant leafy suburb.

There is parking on my drive and free on-road parking in the area.
The Area and Transport
Meersbrook is a leafy suburb with local buses, parks and shops. It is 2 miles from Sheffield Theatres - 25 minutes by bus and 48 minutes to walk. 1.8 miles from Sheffield Station. Popular pubs, cafes and restaurants are 1/2 mile away on a main artery road into Sheffield City Centre (A61).
Even nearer are artisan bakeries and coffee shops. An old Tudor building, The Bishop’s House, is located up the road in the nearby Meersbrook Park. Graves Park, with a rare breeds animal farm, lakes and extensive walking, is just over a mile away.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Julia’s comms were great, and the rooms at the top of the house were warm, clean, tidy and charming, just right for a busy week at the Lyceum (and the views are great too). I would be very happy to return, thanks for having me!

Julia was an excellent host who made me feel completely at home from the start. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the private sitting room was perfect for both relaxing after a long day and getting work done, with a desk provided. The private bathroom with shower was great, and the kitchenette was a lovely touch — with the added bonus of access to the main kitchen for more substantial meal preparation. Don’t hesitate to book with Julia. She’s a diamond, the best digs host I’ve ever had!
