Living with Host

Clean, comfortable, pleasantly decorated, quiet double room with your own en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Window looks over the peaceful back garden. TV, with Netflix and Youtube, and double wardrobe in room.

The double bedroom is situated on the first floor and the kitchen on the ground floor. We also have a spare room on the ground floor with ensuite too.

All towels and bedding is supplied and there is also use of the washing machine at an additional cost of £5 per load. We don't have a dryer but there is a local launderette with washing/drying facilities nearby (by car).
There are some hair products and shower gels provided.

Hair dryer is provided in room.

Check out by 10am in the morning.

WiFi is available throughout the house.

We are a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach (Meadfoot Beach) and a 20 minute walk to the main town and harbour area including pubs, clubs and restaurants.
The Princess Theatre is just past this location and is a 25 minute walk from the house and is all down hill. A quick return taxi is probably recommended back at night.

We are also situated on a local bus route with a bus stop directly outside the close but the last bus is at 5pm.

You have use of the kitchen, where tea, coffee and cereal/toast is available. You can use the Kitchen for preparing microwave meals and boiling pasta etc. No use of main oven. You have the use of a private well maintained garden.

We offer a parking space in front of the garage, or on the main road outside the Close, which is a very safe area.

We live at this property and are usually in most of the time.

Any damage to contents in the rooms, ie; bedding, mirrors, towels, carpet, curtains etc, will have to be paid for by guest.
We use John Lewis towels and bed linen - Duvet Cover = £24, Sheet = £12, Duvet = £40.

We (hosts) have had the two vaccinations in helping to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
We use gloves to thoroughly sanitise the bedroom and ensuite bathroom after every guest has left, with ventilation throughout the procedure.
Accommodation keys are thoroughly cleaned after each guest has left.
All high-touch surfaces have been sanitised, such as doorknobs, cabinets and light switches.
We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay

Amazing hosts with a lovely house!

An amazing bathroom and a very comfortable bed.

The blackout blinds are very good as well for those days you need a lie in!

Will be staying with them again if I am ever in Torquay!

Gary and Steve are wonderfully friendly, generous hosts who made my stay in Torquay a most enjoyable one.

The bedroom is spacious, bright and airy; the bed is very comfortable and the ensuite is bright, fresh & modern.

The accommodation was very clean and very well-presented.

The house is ... read more conveniently located to the nearby Hight Street of Wellswood and is a lovely stroll down to Torquay Marina with all its restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and of course, the Princess Theatre.

I found this to be an excellent place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone requiring accommodation in Torquay.

If you want a peaceful stay in the most friendly theatre household, I'd recommend staying with Steve & Gary. Nothing is too much for them!

Lovely rooms, comfortable and clean. The rooms have everything you could possibly need for your stay, and more!

Had a wonderful week staying with Gary and Steve, who were perfect hosts.

The room is beautiful and in a lovely, quiet location about 20mins walk from the theatre (or a cheap cab ride).

Really enjoyed the privacy of the room, which has its own bathroom facilities and is just inside the front d... read more oor, which means not having to go through the main part of the house.

Breakfast of toast or cereal was offered/included every day if I wanted and the guys were very friendly and welcoming.

Off road parking too.

Very highly recommended.
