Living with Host
Guests who have stayed with me have always said they feel welcome and relaxed in my home. Guests all work creatively for example actors, dancers and musicians.
Downstairs the living, dining and kitchen are all shared spaces and you are welcome to use them and the kitchen basics. My home is strictly vegan/vegetarian only so that will appeal to some guests! The double bedroom overlooks the courtyard garden.
There is a large shared bathroom with a shower and bath. The central location is one reason why I chose to live here...just a few minutes from everywhere.

Absolutely loved my stay at Clare’s! She is incredibly kind and helpful, and she’s got a beautiful, comfy home (especially the bed!!) and it’s a real treat location wise! Super close to the theatre and the beautiful centre of Chester. Would highly recommend and stay again! Thanks Clare 😃

Had a lovely stay at Clare's house! I would reccomend the attic room mainly for people travelling with a small baggage / smaller suitcase. The room is super comfortable though and the house is clean, gets a lot of light and is only a 5 minutes walk from the Storyhouse. Plus Clare is an amazing host. I would 100% stay again!

I had a lovely stay at Clare's. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The house is ideally situated for the theatre and the town. An easy walk from the station. I can't recommend these highly enough and I would definitely want to stay again.

Clare was lovely. Really warm, wonderful host. The room was very nice; it was on the first floor and right next door to the bathroom so very convenient.

Clare was the most amazing host! So kind and helpful. Her place has such a nice energy, cosy and clean and I felt at home straight away. Plus it’s in the heart of Chester less than a 5 minute walk to the theatre. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thankyou Clare 🙏🙏🙏

Clare is the one of loveliest women I have ever met. She really made me feel at home. A beautiful house and the room was comfortable and cosy! So close to the theatre too. Thanks for everything Clare; truly can’t thank you enough.

Perfect location for performing at The Storyhouse. A 4 minute walk and close by to town and all cafes and restaurants. A lovely room and bathroom, very clean and cosy. Would recommend!

Clare was a lovely host and has a beautiful home right in the city centre. Perfect for a short trip for a couple of days of shows in Chester with everything I needed. Would definitely stay with her again :)

Clare is a fantastic host! The digs is about a 4 minutes walk to the theatre, there is a Tesco Express even closer. Would happily stay again. Great value!

Had a lovely stay stay with Clare, bed was super comfy, I slept so well! Room was large and warm, great location two min walk into Chester and easy 18mins to the train station. Clare was a fab host, great communication and very accommodating, I really felt at home here, would definitely recommend.

April was great at communicating, before and during her stay, was easy to be around and so I’d definitely recommend her as a guest.
Such a lovely place to stay with a perfect location too. Less than a minute walk and you’re in Chester centre! Clare is so lovely and will do everything to make you feel welcome and at home. Very relaxed and so kind we couldn’t have been happier there. Hope to stay with you again soon Clare!
