Living with Host

What does this mean?

Double room with blackout blind overlooking the back garden, with your own sofa in warm and welcoming Victorian house. Full use of kitchen, garden & living areas. Washing machine if needed. Safe area only a short bus ride to the city centre and also walkable to harbour, city centre and local green spaces such as Ashton Court and the Avon Gorge.

Guest Parking

Parking permit area in the street, let me know in advance if you want permits at £2 each per day. Free parking on the other side of North Street, unrestricted area. Sunday's unrestricted on the street.

The Area and Transport

Vibrant area close to North Street which is bustling with independent shops and cafes. Two minutes walk from The Tobacco Factory which has theatre, bar and bakery plus Sunday market. Aldi also two minutes away and where the bus stops to and from the city centre (number 24 ). Scenic walk via the historic harbourside to Arnolfini gallery and Watershed multi media centre with independent cinema takes 35-40 mins. Clifton village, suspension bridge and Ashton Court all walkable ( uphill). Ther is an elderly cat ( that stays downstairs ), currently she yowls in the early hours so do wear earplugs or only come if you are a deep sleeper!

This space is shared with 1 Host and 2 other permanent tenants.

The bedroom door has a wedge that can be used when you are in it. Other bedrooms are occupied by an artist friend three nights a week ( sunday to tuesday inclusive) and front bedroom by lodger of three years. We are all nice, friendly and trustworthy people. Kitchen diner, garden, lounge, hallways and bathroom plus downstairs toilet are all shared.
