Living with Host
My flat is on the fourth floor of a modern apartment complex in the cultural quarter of Leeds city centre. It is within easy walking distance to all the main theatres, shops, bars and restaurants.
The room is clean, cosy and nicely decorated. It has a comfortable standard double bed with fresh bed linen, a wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space, a desk, chair and a storage unit. There’s also a TV, Sky Q mini box and USB charging ports. Towels and a change of bedding are also provided.
You will have full use of the kitchen which includes an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There’s also a kettle, air fryer and toaster.
The bathroom has a large bath with overhead shower. This along with the open planned kitchen and living room area is shared with the host.
There’s also a communal balcony with outside seating with amazing views of Leeds Minster and over the city centre.

Really close to the theatre and nice little flat! Was perfect for just the one night and reasonably priced

The location and cleanliness are outstanding. The problem is that the flat is tiny and the host often had his TV on loudly and always kept his bedroom door ajar which is right opposite. He also brought back his partner unannounced one evening around 1am and they were talking loudly and clattering while I was trying to sleep which made me uncomfortable. No food allowed in the bedroom and he didn’t seem keen to make small talk. Sure he is a nice guy but this wasn’t my jam. Sad as location is fab.

My stay with Richard was lovely - the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was always clean, the flat was cool and his cat was super cute.
Richard was also super helpful when I left one of my belongings behind, letting someone pick it up for me!

Richard's house is nice and cosy, super tidy and in pristine condition, the bed is comfortable and the location was great. Richard was nice and quiet so the house felt calm and I felt like I had privacy. Thank you!

Lovely clean flat and great location. However, the host was not very friendly and I did not feel welcome in shared spaces. This might be due to shyness. This was made up for by proximity to theatres.

I had a good stay.
Richard isn't as welcoming/ friendly as other hosts. But the flat is nice, although very close quarters. Very clean and an easy walk to the theatre.

Overall a pleasant place to stay with good transport links and can easily walk to the Leeds Carriageworks and Playhouse.

Nice and close location - flat was very clean and tidy but is quite cramped and very close living quarters! The lift was out of service which wasn't ideal for top floor flat - luckily Richard helped with suitcase otherwise not sure how I'd have managed. The flush in toilet kept breaking which made it a bit awkward and uncomfortable every time I needed to go to the loo! There isn't a lock on bedroom door and ideally this is something I prefer when staying digs to make me feel a bit more at ease.

This is my second time here. Great location. Nice room. Host keeps to himself as does the cat. Very handy place to be if at Leeds Grand.

Richard was a fantastic host. Nothing too much trouble, clean and well maintained. Communication was fantastic, even forgot my laptop once and Richard was so kind to let me know if it was left in my room). The location was ideal! Highly recommend!
