Sunny Double in Eco-Home ☀️🌿 (York)

A sunny double bedroom in our lovely eco-home.

You’ll have a super comfy Simba mattress, a chest of drawers, desk & chair and clothes rail.

Your private bathroom is right next door to your room, with a good powered shower and water as hot (or cold!) as you like. You even have a bath to unwind in. As an eco-home, it’s always nice and warm, but we’re not scared of turning the heating (or fans) on if needed. Oh, and the house is professionally cleaned every fortnight, so you don’t have to worry about any black mould or carpets matted with pet hair. (We don’t have any, btw)

Our kitchen’s more than equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc.) and we’re more than happy for you to dip into our fully stocked larder for spices, oils and herbs. We also have a BEAUTIFUL bean-to-cup coffee machine we can induct you into ☕️

We’re lucky to have a large downstairs lounge and dining area that we’re happy to share with you. We have super fast broadband. We have a sunny garden, with two seating areas, that you’re more than welcome to use.

We live on a beautiful eco-home development so even though we’re a little way out of the centre, it’s pretty idyllic and super quiet. There’s a walking and cycle path straight into the town (45 / 15 mins respectively), buses, and it’s usually £6-8 in an Uber.

The development has loads of open green space for runs, work outs and wanders, as well as two large ponds with resident swans and ducks.

You’re also more than welcome to have our private car parking space, just outside the house, should you need it. If you have a bike, we’ve got a rack in our shed to keep it safe.

Both of us work in the arts, and have toured before, so fully respect some days you may want a chat, and others you’ll want to shut the world out and line learn / self tape / binge watch TV. We know how grim digs can be, so want to give you respite and peace of mind!

We love living in York and have lots of recommendations to share with you if you wish.
