Living with Host
I have a south facing, bright double bedroom available in Clontarf for theatre digs.
2.8 km / 1.8 miles from the city centre and a five minute walk to multiple bus routes into town.
The house is a new build with underfloor heating and constant hot water.
The kitchen and living room are open plan, as one room.
There are two bathrooms, the main one upstairs, and downstairs a wet room with a 2nd toilet.
The house is a no smoking/vaping house.
I live and work from the house.
There can occasionally be a 2nd person/your guest staying in the house for one maybe two nights, this would have to be discussed beforehand and there would be a tenner extra a night to cover water and electric.
There is a garden/yard for when the sun shines.
The house is on a quiet family road, and very quite and peaceful.
The house is quiet after 11pm.
Guest Parking
Unfortunately there is no parking available on the street.
There is pay and display on the next road, but its expensive.
The Area and Transport
The house is situated at the bottom of the Malahide Road by Marino and Fairview Park and is a short 5 minute walk to many city centre bus routes and 10 minute walk to Clontarf Dart station.
The house is close to the Bull Island nature reserve and the famous Bull Wall swimming shelters. You can also walk to many of the local cafes, restaurants and shops.

The guest has their own double bed room upstairs, which can lock from the inside.
The bathrooms, kitchen, living room are shared with myself and sometimes one other person.
You can store a bicycle in the garage.

Be mindful of charging phones and electricals, that the cables are safe and please unplug when out and make sure they are not left on soft furnishings.

Vanessa was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The room is beautiful and bright with lots of natural light. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay - it was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Would happily stay again!
