Spacious, stylish and centrally located Victorian house with two comfy double bedrooms available for rent. Within walking distance to nearby theatres and studios, close to city transport links. Being in a buzzing multicultural area of Cardiff, there are plenty of tasty and incredibly reasonable places to eat right on your doorstep! Just ask for recommendations :)

Recycling is a big deal- did you know wales ranks second best in the world for domestic recycling?
♻️🌽 No food waste can’t go in any bin apart from the food waste bin under the sink.
The general waste bin and recycling bins are in the utility room stacked on top of each other.
Recycling just needs a quick rinse before being put in the bags.
⭕️💼 Red bag- Hard plastics, tetra paks and cans
🔵💼 Blue bag- unsoiled cardboard and paper
🗳️ - glass in the blue caddy by the back door.
🚮- Soft plastics, crisp packets and all other waste in the general waste

Dom was such a lovely host with so many recommendations of where to go in Cardiff! A cosy little room and a simple 20 mins walk to the New Theatre!

Dom and Mackerel are such wonderful hosts; great company, friendly and generous. House is a great location, room gets some nice sun, and the house itself is lovely. Would absolutely stay here again!

A great stay if you’re working at the New Theatre Royal. Well equipped kitchen, heated floors and a welcoming host. Dominique makes you feel welcome and great for a chat.

Dominique was amazing! Great host would definitely recommend.
20 min walk from the New Theatre and was pretty straight forward and was very helpful with parking.

Dom’s place is just fantastic, and Dom herself is utterly delightful! The house is so cool and comfy, and about 15mins walk to the theatre (or 7min uber if you’re lazy). Her little cat is the sweetest, and I’d definitely stay again!

Loved Dom’s place so much. A lot because of her and all her glorious recommendations of gorgeous places to eat. But also, because there was a garden and lovely decor and a 24 minute walk to the station and a 14 minute walk to the city! She also has a lovely 🐈⬛ cat that I hardly ever saw, but was completely wonderful when I did. She is super trustworthy and will do everything she can to make your stay special / appearing to know more about Cardiff than Google! Lidl is also 8 minutes away :)

Just wonderful! Not only is Dom's house gorgeous, but she is also super friendIy and helpful as well. I discovered a whole new Cardiff I didn't know about due to her amazing recommendations. It's also perfectly located, a 14 minute walk into town, and a 24 minute walk to the train station. I loved that there was a beautiful garden too, with a pond - and the bedlinen was really nice. You're only 10 minutes from City Road, where there are so many incredible and incredibly cheap places to eat :O)

Dom was a fantastic host. Very welcoming with great suggestions and excellent communication. The facilities are great and it is really easy to feel at home. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to the city centre, theatre and amenities. I was working late most nights and it felt perfectly safe to walk the area in the dark. It’s also only a 20 min walk to the train station. I would thoroughly recommend and definitely stay there again should I be coming back to Cardiff.

The house is really cool and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

I’m always striving for top marks so I’d love to hear how to improve. The house had been deep cleaned just before your arrival. There are items in the hall/ utility for my van conversion which I am explaining to all guests- it’s a lived in house.
With regards to value - I don’t know if that’s because you knew maybe Ellie was paying less? That’s because she booked a single but I had made upgrades to the room in the interim, and honoured her original price x
Staying with Dom was an absolute pleasure. She is very personable and adaptable to your needs and if you love to chat with a friendly face she's your gal. Super chill vibes and I enjoyed staying here

I had a great stay with Dominique, an incredibly friendly and accommodating host with all the best recommendations for where to go during my stay. Dom was really helpful in finding me parking and being less than a 10 minute walk to the New Theatre it was easy to get to work each day. The room is great (certainly more on the cosy side but I didn't mind) and lovely kitchen and bathroom as well. I had a great stay and would recommend.

Absolutely loved staying with Dom (and Mackerel) so kind and friendly. She was absolutely amazing and gives great advice about the local area, the walk to the new theatre was about 15 mins and a very easy walk. Will definitely be staying again!!!

Lovely home 15/20 minutes walk from the New Theatre. Dom was super welcoming and helpful. Free parking on the road 100 yards up from the house. Work schedule was crazy so was only there to sleep but bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed.

Dom was a lovely host, as was her cat Mackerel. The room itself is a bed and wardrobe space with shelves, and a lamp, so not much in the way of space, but the rest of the house makes up for that. Great facilities, a lovely shower. A bit chilly but provided plenty of blankets. I was able to use the guitar which I was very happy about, and would happily stay again. Good area for quick transport to WMC and shops also! :) xxx

A comfortable bed in a cosy room. Dominque's house is stylish and cosy. She was always quick to respond when asked any questions. She admits that the house is old and has some things are a bit hard to operate because of this.However I did have a enjoyable stay and it was good value for money.
