Living with Host

What does this mean?

The property is a semi-detached two storey house with gardens front and rear. Safe, short walk to the New Vic Basford and 10 minutes away on the local bus route from The Regent, Stoke.
All rooms are equipped with blinds and curtains. Bedding and towels provided.
There are TVs, crockery, hot drinks, kettle, microwave, counter fridge and toaster in all bedrooms but guests are more than welcome to use the kitchen and utility room and there are two guest bathrooms. You are welcome to use the washer and we also provide a free laundry service. Every bedroom has a desk and swivel chair. The bedsit also has a settee and 42" TV with virgin media. We have house cats that are kept away from guest areas unless you smuggle them in!

The Area and Transport

Situated in a quiet residential area, close to bus routes for Newcastle, Stoke and Hanley.
Stoke railway station is 2 miles away.
Morrisons local at the end of the avenue.
5 minute walk to the high street:-3 pubs, Indian and Chinese take aways, chippy, mini supermarket, newsagent, hair dressers and barbers.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts and 2 other paying Guests.

All bedrooms and bathrooms have a lockable door. There are two guest bathrooms, one with bath and shower the other with a jungle shower and an additional downstairs loo and sink. The kitchen and entrance area are shared. The bedsit doubles as a guest lounge when not being used as a third bedroom. Free 5G wifi throughout the property.
We have garden on three sides and a range of outsideseating, tables and sun shades for you to relax during the warmer weather.

Lesley and Steve were very friendly and accommodating during my 10-week stay here (even got a free upgrade to a double room!)

Very convenient 10-minute walk to the New Vic theatre, plus near to Asda and a small Morrisons.

The only real mark down was because the bathroom was shared for a couple of weeks of my stay despite being listed as private, although this wasn't for very long and I think has been amended on the listing now.

All in all, would certainly recommend to anyone working here!
