What does this mean?

All of our rooms have blackout vertical blinds and curtain. We are very close to the theatres within walking distance. There are hair dryers and ensuite in all of the double rooms. We have now added a small kitchenette with microwave and air fryer also a fridge freezer. Irons and ironing board are available. We can organise to do a wash for you if needs be. We do have a breakfast menu which ranges from £2.50 to £8.50 and we cater for vegetarians and Vegans. We are also happy to adjust our menu to cater for special diets but cannot guarantee price for special diets. Toiletries and towels are provided in each room, along with tea/coffee and 1 bottled water. Toilet rolls are also provided. We ask guests to let us know if they require top ups or fresh towels during their stay. Rubbish is to be left outside of the room and it will be picked up that day. The area is safe to walk around. As with any area normal precautions for personal safety should be adhered to.

Guest Parking

We only have two parking spaces which must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. The cost is £5.00 per day. There are a number of pay to stay car parks in the area and you can also look on Horizon Spaces app

The Area and Transport

Runway guest house is situated a 3/4 minute walk to the Winter Gardens and Grand Theatre. The location is about a 15 minute walk to and from Blackpool North Station. The Coach station is a two minute walk away. To walk to the sea front and trams is a 5/6 minute walk. Blackpool Tower is a 9 minute walk. There are many restaurants of varying prices and a number of convenience shops locally. Public transport is not required for the two theatres as they are so close.

Of our rooms have lockable doors. Double rooms are en-suite, shower and toilet and there is a sink in every room. There is a shared Kitchenette on the first floor. which is personal to Theatre Digs guests only There is a toilet for use by guests on first floor. There are no common areas. There is a reception area but it is used for breakfasts and check in only.

Excluded Facilities

The reception area is for breakfast and check in only. There is no access to the main kitchen. No access to washing machine ( we are always happy to put a wash on for you if required fir a small fee just to cover the electricity)
