Living with Host
Bright double room in cottage built approx 1760. This bedroom is at the front of the house, facing the road.
Includes wardrobe, chest of drawers, power points with extension leads, desk and chair, mirror, bedside table, lamp. Full use of kitchen, garden, utility room and living area.
-Shared bathroom, great shower, towels provided.
- Full use of the kitchen with space in fridge and cupboard, help yourself to pantry sundries
-Use of washing machine, drying rack etc
-Feel free to enjoy the spacious garden with a view, plenty seating available
Guest Parking
We have a large driveway with space for several vehicles. A bike shed is also available to store your bike if you'd like to bring it.
The Area and Transport
From our house, there is the X3 bus stop right outside, this service runs on the half hour all the way to and from Salisbury station, last bus back from near the playhouse is shortly after a show would come down.
There is also Britford Park and Ride a 7 minute walk away, these also run every half hour, 5 minutes after the x3s go.
Walking distance to the playhouse and arts centre from our home is 45 minutes. Perfect for a bit of head space time or to run lines to yourself.
Nisa (0.6 miles) and M&S Food (0.8 miles) en route to Playhouse.

I had a wonderful stay in Britford. The countryside is so peaceful and you get to sleep like a log. The house is 15-18min bus from the playhouse. Taxis are about £12 if you are having a night out or a late shift. I highly recommend it! Bonus point to the doggie (who's name I already forgot cause I am bad with names), just so cute. She comes around for cuddles! To the host: thank you, if I ever get to work again in Salisbury, I will be back x

Had a great couple of weeks with Rosemary. I had a lovely room, but I was at the theatre most of the time but there is a huge garden with beautiful views at the back. The bus stop is over the rd and goes straight to the theatre. Plus they have the sweetest little doggie. Will definitely stay again.

Rosemary and Dave were very welcoming hosts. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the surroundings lovely. The buses aren't too frequent and don't run late, but you can get a taxi (about £10). I'd definitely stay here again, thank you!

Rosemary has taken in many of my lovely performers and has always been a joy to deal with. She has welcomed them in every time and I hope we can continue using her accommodation for a long time to come.

What can I say? Rosemary is the perfect host, going that extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
The annex is absolutely fantastic, fully self contained with a fantastic view and totally private, you don't have to worry about waking anyone up if you need the loo in the night.
The annex and the two other rooms we rented were clean and cosy and it was exceptional value for money.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
