About these Digs
Living with Host
A 3 storey house, and I have three rooms on offer on this site.
One is a large double suite with T.V. and separate large lounge with T.V. and tea/coffee making facilities. Private shower room. You can use my kitchen and utility room, which is shared with me and and another guest if my other room is booked. This suite of rooms occupies the whole of my second floor, and is for your own exclusive use.
My second room is a double room with T.V. and tea/coffee making facilities, it has a bathroom with over shower on landing, which it shares with the single room and is on the first floor of my house.
The third room is a single with armchair, free view tv and coffee/ tea making facilities. Shared bathroom with double room.
Shared kitchen, with space in fridge and freezer for your food.
Feel free to use condiments etc when cooking.
Utility room with washer and tumble dryer.
Fast fibre Internet.
On street parking outside the

On drive or free on street parking available.
The Area and Transport
Access to Leeds Theatres by bus is easy. 6 min walk to bus stop, approx 15 min journey, drops off at Stage Door for Grand Theatre and 10 mins from Leeds Playhouse / Leeds Conservatoire.
Walking distance to Middleton Park (15 mins), New Forest Plantation is 5 min walk.

Very friendly host, comfortable room in a quiet neighbourhood. Was only there one night, but it served me well.

This was such a lovely house filled with really lovely people. The room was absolutely perfect and the facilities like the kitchen and bathroom were brilliant. My only concern was that this digs is listed for Wakefield theatre and unless you drive it is really difficult to get to Wakefield from here. However, if you drive then it’s a dream! Thank you so much for a lovely stay x

Great to have Tiajna to stay, I agree that we are not best located for people from Wakefield using public transport, which is why I highlighted the location before finalising the booking.
This will always be home from home when I'm performing up North x

Elaine and David were lovely hosts. They very kindly picked me up from the station at an ungodly hour of the night, and it was lovely to chat with them and get to know them a little. Their house (and the room) is absolutely beautiful and they were so welcoming. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

Lovely, spotless digs, with option for own bathroom and lounge on top floor. Very comfy bed and black out blinds. A little ways out of the centre, but lots of regular bus route options. Walking distance to supermarket. Elaine and David were away for the duration of my stay, but communication was excellent. Would recommend!

Highly recommend this host, Elaine and David could not have been anymore accommodating and made your feel incredibly welcome, it truly felt like a home away from home, the room was beautiful, clean and spacious!

Elaine and David were fabulous hosts. They even picked me up and then dropped me off at the train station at the end. They have a really nice house and the room with living room was wonderfully comfortable. I thoroughly recommend staying here.

Elaine and David were the nicest hosts. From collecting me from the station to taking me to the theatre for 9am Monday morning!
They have a gorgeous house and it was a dream having the top floor to myself! I'll be back for sure! xxx

Elaine and David were brilliant, friendly and welcoming but also giving me privacy. I had the whole top floor of their lovely house, with beautiful shower/toilet room and large lounge. Perfect, many thanks!

A fabulous week at Elaine and David's. A lovely couple. A beautiful and peaceful couple of rooms, a very comfortable bed and Swedish massage with a neighbour an option! Wish I'd been around for longer.

Elaine and David couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful. Including a drive round the route from their home into the town centre to orientate myself. Rooms spotless and really well equipped with all you could need.

The twin room was really cosy, clean and comfortable and having my own bathroom was a real bonus!

I had a lovely stay. It was a shame it was only a few nights!
Great bedroom/private living room and ensuite. Gorgeous house, lovely hosts. Parking outside the house.
I got the bus directly into town from the bus stop a 2 min walk from the house and it was convenient and cheap.
Would definitely stay again!

As we expressed on departure, there are insufficient superlatives in my lexicon to describe both host and home.
Thank you so much for your hospitality, we felt that nothing would be too much trouble and the ability to close myself away in your upstairs suite will no doubt be essential at some future date when I have to nail down a tricky script!
Once again, many thanks - on behalf of impoverished thesps around the country I can think of no way to improve what you offer and no finer place to stay when in Leeds.
