What does this mean?

Warm and cosy, attic room 14' x 12' in lovely Victorian house in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

We are a delightful, 20-30 minute canalside "commuter" walk (or some cycle, or even kayak!) - or a 15-20 min (very regular) bus journey - to the City Centre @ Brindley Place/Broad Street/Repertory Theatre etc. (search for BrindleyPlaceBirmingham); truly the beating heart of Birmingham's nightlife,🥳

Guest Parking

Excellent, free parking in our little connecting street - “Link Road” - where everyone looks out for everyone else. ❤️

We always advise guests not to leave anything that might be perceived as “valuable” in their cars!

Most members of our thriving Link Rd community, have “Ring”-style video cameras, or similar devices.

This is a “Home-Stay” kind of digs, where you are welcomed as an integral part of our home. ❤️

If you choose to book with us, we will email you our lil’ “Guest Info E-Flet”, which has all the information you could possibly want, including - links to online maps, walking, cycling & commuter routes, bus timetables, shops, bars, restaurants, and most everything else! 😁

This is a “Home-Stay” style of accommodation, where Paul & David (a married couple of 40 years together) welcome you as an integral member of their home.

There are also two incredibly friendly & loving dogs - JJ & Molly 🐕‍🦺 🦮 and two very sociable pusscats - CJ & Toby 🐈 🐈‍⬛

You are most welcome to use all of the social & facilities spaces in the house - lounge with TV etc, dining room cum Music Room, kitchen, bathroom & gardens.

Excluded Facilities

All social & facilities spaces are shared with Paul & David, and (as of yet(!), there is not an en-suite in your attic room.

Paul and David made me feel very welcome. As did dogs, Molly and CJ and the cats. The kitchen was a little cluttered and not much room in the fridge. Kettle and microwave in room are a thoughtful touch but fridge and only taps are down two floors. If your easy going and after something friendly and affordable it’s a great option.

Lovely couple and very welcoming with lovely doggies.It was handy to have microwave, kettle etc in room. Unfortunately other shared areas of the house weren't too tidy and clean.
