A beautiful traditional yet fully renovated listed home in Canterbury's most beautiful street, set right on the river, overlooking the park from the rear and with fabulous views of the Cathedral from the front.

Originally built by the army at the time of the Napoleonic War as ‘temporary accommodation for non comissioned officers’ Damselfly still stands proudly 200 years later!

Inside it’s now a relaxing home from home with ‘all mod cons’ and a relaxed open plan vacation friendly layout, including a river side garden for al fresco dining and a lovely elevated terrace where one can relax in the evening overlooking the park.

There are two King Size bedrooms, as well as a large sofa bed in the living room.

As with all Inspired Canterbury properties, all bills are included, with unlimited fast broadband, and FREE Private Parking & EV Charging!

Stay for more than a week and we’ll also include a weekly deep clean, bed linen & towel change!

Tony was a fabulous host!! He had excellent communication and was incredibly flexible with check in when I was arriving late due to a long day of travelling. The place is beautiful and a stones throw a way from the theatre. I had the best week at the damselfly and I will definitely be back!!

Such a beautiful property, greats hosts and great value for money. Tony was super helpful, kind and the check in process was a delight. 3 minute walk to the theatre, it doesn’t get better than this.
