What does this mean?

Hello and welcome to my Blackpool home! I’ve got a bright, comfy double room ready for you, just a short stroll from both main theatres — ideal if you’re working or performing in town. Fresh linen and fluffy towels are all set, and the room has a wardrobe, drawers, bedside cabinet and an Alexa smart speaker for your music. There’s a wall‑mounted TV with Netflix, YouTube and more, plus fast WiFi throughout. You’ll also have a modern bathroom with a big walk‑in rainfall shower, and access to a cosy kitchen with a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and Ninja cooker. The house is bright and fully central heated, and there’s even a hot&cool fan if you need to tweak the temperature — we all know how unpredictable Blackpool weather can be! A lovely place to relax, recharge and feel right at home.

Guest Parking

Parking is available right outside with a council guest pass. I provide the pass for your stay — there’s a £20 cash deposit, refunded when it’s returned. The pass must be displayed on your dashboard at all times; if it’s not returned, the deposit covers the replacement cost. There are also off‑street car parks nearby, including covered and more secure options with pay‑on‑exit. I’m happy to point these out if you’d prefer to use one.

The Area and Transport

You’ll be staying right in the heart of Blackpool — just a few minutes’ walk from the two main theatres. The Winter Gardens is around 6–8 minutes away on foot, and the Grand Theatre takes roughly the same. It’s an easy, well‑lit walk through the town centre, so you can head to rehearsals or shows without worrying about transport.
Local buses stop nearby and run frequently along the Promenade and into town, while Blackpool North train station is about a 10‑minute walk. There’s also great access to trams for travel along the seafront from Starr Gate up to Fleetwood — ideal for exploring between performances!
The house is close to cafés, supermarkets, and plenty of late‑night spots where you can grab food after a show. Everything’s within easy reach, making this the perfect base for theatre professionals who want convenience and comfort while enjoying the best bits of Blackpool.
