Living with Host
I have a bright sunny room with a double bed and wardrobe to let in my cottage. If you don't want the light there is a black out blind which cuts down the light substantially. The bathroom is shared and is in the extension downstairs. I am happy to share the kitchen and the living area with whoever comes to stay. I have found that having theatre people works really well as we keep different hours which means there is no traffic jam over the bathroom or kitchen. There is a communal lawn outside the front door which gives a very spacious feel to the property and in Spring the blossom on my cherry tree is beautiful.
Its a good place for a person who likes animals as I have two pug dogs and a ginger cat.
Guest Parking
There is residents parking where you can park with a daily scratch card - the cards
cost £1.60 each per day. There is a space outside the front door where you can attach a bicycle.
The Area and Transport
The quickest way to get to the West End from me is to take the bus from Cricklewood Broadway to Kilburn station which is the Jubilee line, change at Green Park and that takes you to Leicester Square and Covent Garden. There is also the overground which goes from Cricklewood straight to Kings Cross St Pancras where there is a choice of connections.
There is a Tesco local and a Lidl within a 5 minute walk and several restaurants down the Broadway and some more near Willesden Green station. We even have a Gail's so we must be coming up in the world!
There are various health clubs/gyms nearby which take casual members.

Regarding shared and private facilities, your room is private, although the cleaner will go in once a week to clean and change the sheets. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The bathroom, kitchen and living area are shared.

Spaces not available to guests are my bedroom and my workroom.

I had a lovely time staying with Claudia, she has 2 lovely pugs and a cat which was an additional bonus!
Great transport links with many busses and a short walk to overground trains. Lovely digs in a quiet street
