Living with Host
A large, bright double room with ample storage. Situated in the middle of the house, it is set back from the street for a quiet night's sleep. It features both blackout blinds and curtains, ideal for those who need to rest during the day or have a late lie-in after a show.
Low Occupancy: This is a spacious 3-bedroom home shared by only 2 occupants (myself and one guest).
Kitchen: Fully equipped for those who love to cook (oven, hob, microwave, air fryer).
Storage: You will also have a dedicated freezer drawer, fridge shelf and cupboard space.
Garden: A private garden to relax in with no back access.
The house is clean, grounded, and shared with one friendly cat. As an artist, I often create (dinning room) or study (office) from home, maintaining a respectful and peaceful atmosphere for everyone to recharge.
Guest Parking
Parking directly outside is hit-and-miss. However, there is always plenty of free, non-permit on-street parking on Sun Street, just a 1/2 minute walk away. Reliable and convenient for those touring with cars or vans.
The Area and Transport
Just 1 min away is a vibrant local street with independent cafes, grocery stores, thrift shops, and hardware stores, perfect for all your touring essentials. While the area is full of character and energy, the house itself is a peaceful, respectful space to rest and recharge.

Private to Guest:
Bedroom: A large, private double room. While there is currently no lock, I am happy to discuss installing one if preferred for your peace of mind.
Storage: Dedicated cupboard space, a private fridge shelf, and a freezer drawer.
Shared Facilities:
Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped for those who love to cook. You are welcome to use my extensive Tupperware collection - ideal for taking meals to the theatre!
Bathroom: includes bath and shower. Shared with host only.
Utility Room: Access to washing machine and freezer.
Lounge/Dining room: This is a shared communal space where I often create and craft.
Garden: A private, secure outdoor space with no back access with a high washing line, perfect for drying laundry outdoors.
The home is shared only with me and my friendly cat. With no other tenants or children, it remains a quiet, respectful, and spacious environment.
Excluded Facilities
Host’s Bedroom: Private and not available for guest access.
Host’s Office: This is my private workspace for my studies and creative projects; it is not for guest use.

Strictly Single Occupancy: No overnight guests or visitors are permitted. This ensures the house remains a quiet, low-occupancy environment.
Respectful Noise Levels: As I study and create from home, I ask for a quiet and respectful atmosphere, especially late at night or early morning.
Front Door Security: For everyone's safety, please ensure the front door is locked at all times immediately after entering or leaving.
Cleanliness: Please "clean as you go" in the kitchen and shared bathroom to keep the space comfortable and grounded for both of us.

The Resident Cat: She is a small black cat and can be "invisible" in low light..Please always check the floor before stepping.

Carbon Monoxide Safety: Since there is an open fireplace in the lounge and a gas cooker, Carbon Monoxide detectors are installed in each room for your safety.
Fireplace Use: Please note the open fire is for host use only. I ask that guests do not light or clear the fire themselves.
Cat Awareness: As mentioned, my small black cat can be hard to see. Please always double-check the floor and be mindful when closing doors.
Security: Please ensure the front door is locked upon every entry and exit.

Friendly host! Lauren’s place is clean and welcoming. Bed is comfortable and I felt at home. A top notch experience!

Lauren was a superb host and the room was PERFECT. Even in a heatwave with outside temperatures of 34, the house was cool and airy and Lauren provided a fan to stay cool at nighttime. The house is awesome and I felt like I was staying at home away from home with lovely artwork and comfy furniture,brilliantly equipped kitchen and beautiful wild secret garden outside. It was close to the city and easy walking distance to all the places I needed to be - definitely recommend - the most perfect digs!
