Living with Host
The room available is the cozy back bedroom in my Victorian terraced house. It has a double bed, small built in wardrobe and two chest of drawers (one of which is not shown in the photos) in the room and a large window which makes it very sunny during the day.
You would have access to a shared bathroom which is next to the avaliable room, which has a seperate bath and shower. Full use of the kitchen, including use of tea/coffee/oils/spices, washing machine, dishwasher and all gadgets. As well as a comfortable living room with a TV which has Amazon Prime, Disney+ as well as live TV. Full use of the wifi is also included.
The house is located in Kings Heath, an area south of the city centre with a young and lively food, drink and live music scene. As well as a number of supermarkets, many charity shops and parks.
The house is just a 5 minute walk from the high street, where you can get the number 50 bus which runs directly into the city centre to Moor Street station/the Bullring where all of the theatre's in the city centre are a short walk of 10-15 minutes. The 50 has a 24 hour schedule and the journey from Kings Health to the city centre is between 20-40 minutes depending on traffic/time of day. You can also catch the 35 which runs less frequently but also serves the city centre. Uber's/local taxi's are easy to get both to the area and back to it and cost between £8 and £15 depending on the time of day.
Parking is free by the house, and while it may seem busy you are always able to find a space on my road or one of the connecting ones.
It is just mysefl (35f) and my cat, Churro, in the house. He is kept out of the bedroom but otherwise roams around the house, though he mainly sleeps during the day! I have a 9-5 office job which is generally in person, and I tend to leave the house early in the morning to go to the gym, so you would have full use of the house during the day.
Guests are allowed with prior notifications. Smokers are welcome but must smoke outside.
